I stepped into the shower and the music began to flow from my lips.

As the water trickled down my skin, warming every inch of my body, I sang at the top of my lungs.

I grabbed for the shampoo bottle and squeezed a little into my palm.

I continued to sing as I moved my hand slowly up to my head, accidentally dropping a little near my feet.

It drizzled to the floor, dropping with a little plop.

"Oops, " I giggled, as I massaged the shampoo into my scalp.

I shrugged it off, ignoring the slimy liquid on the bottom of my bath.

That happened quite often but I didn't worry too much about it.

I twirled around, getting into the song and began shaking my hips.

The liquid squished between my toes and I let out a loud squeal as I lost my balance.

My hands fly out, trying to grab out at anything to hold me up.

The only thing I grab is the wall, but the tiles are not sturdy enough and my hands, already full of suds, slide down the blue tiles.

I fall with a crash to the bottom of the bathtub, crying out in pain as my knees crack against the bathtub.

"Shit," I curse, wincing as the pain slices through me.

I already know that I'll be bruised up tomorrow.

As I try to push myself into a sitting position, I feel the throbbing in my wrist and I gently touch my wrist.

I wince again at just the slightest touch and I begin to panic.

If my wrist is broken, or possibly just fractured, how the hell am I supposed to get out of here?

I thumping sound is heard above me and I tilt my head back, looking up at the roof.

What is that guy doing up there?

I try again, using my other hand to push myself so slowly into a sitting position.

But that's as far as I can get.

With the the water splashing in front of me and the suds still in my hair, I huff and try and think of how I'm supposed to get up.

Stomping footsteps can be heard, much louder and much nearer this time and not long after, I hear a light rap on the bathroom door.

My eyes widen, and I feel my cheeks flush.

Who the hell is that?

The door creaks open and I peek out of the shower curtain, to see the door slowly opening.

A head pops in and I see my neighbour, Calum, poking his head in the doorway.

He gives me a very small, tentative smile and I notice his cheeks flush.

I gasp, pulling the curtain back and my hand flies to cover my very naked body.

"Get out!" I yell.

"I'm sorry," he stutters. "I just heard a noise and came to make sure you were okay."

"I'm fine," I lie.

The room is silent, other than the sounds of the water flowing.

"A-are you sure?" he asks.

"I just hurt my wrist but I'm fine," I assure him.

I wait for the sounds of the door shutting, keeping my eyes down.
