* Y/N stands for your name *

Feeling worse for wear I run myself a bath and wait for it to fill.

I pour some bubble bath mixture into the tub, alongside some bath salts.

Glancing at the swirling water, I shrug and chuck in a couple of bath bombs for good measure.

A cough escapes my lips and I groan, as my nose begins to run again.

After last nights antics, I had a feeling I wouldn't be well today.

I hadn't been feeling too good last night but Ashton has insisted coming out for drinks.

He'd promised the alcohol would make me feel better and I'd listened to him.

Waking this morning with aching bones, a runny nose and a throbbing head wasn't the best.

Ashton had already left to go to the studio with the lads and I was left alone for the day.

I stayed in bed most of the morning, watching films and only taking trips downstairs for food.

It was close to hitting 5pm and I was feeling shattered, after doing literally nothing.

The tub was nearing the full line, so I stripped out of my pjs from last night and stepped in.

I sighed as the heat touched my skin and the steam trickled up my nostrils, making it a little easier to breathe.

I lay my head back, my body disappearing under the bubbles.

I closed my eyes and leaned my head back, relaxing and just enjoying the feeling of content.

--

I didn't know how long had passed, but I figured it was about time I climbed on out of the tub.

The water was becoming slightly cold and the bubbles had all but dissolved.

I was just left with a pool of water, and it felt slightly dirty after I'd stewed in it for so long.

I stood, stretching out my tired limbs and a let out a loud yawn.

Glancing at my phone I realised it was 6!

I quickly stepped out of the tub and wrapped a towel around my body, and one on my hair.

I emptied the tub and left it to drain whilst I got dressed for bed.

Ashton was due back in a couple of hours, so I had time to watch maybe one more film.

I flicked through the DVD's in our drawer and pulled out the third one down.

The Notebook!

It was a classic and possibly one of my favourite Nicholas Sparks films.

Ashton was a sucker for this film, but he denied it.

He claimed when the tears came that he just had something in his eyes, or if it was late he'd say he was just tired.

Any excuse he could get, he'd use it.

I popped the disc in and went downstairs to cook up some dinner.

I checked the freezer but nothing really caught my eyes.

I couldn't even really be bothered cooking for myself if I was honest.

Peeking out into the hallway, I spotted the little set of drawers.

On top of the drawers was our house phone and in the first drawer, our take out menus.
