YOUR POV
I carried my tray to the table my friends usually occupied to find Dylan already there.
I rolled my eyes and sat beside him, making sure to put my back to him.
"How was maths?" Haley asked.
She stabbed her fork into her salad, picking at a lettuce leaf and popped it into her mouth.
As she chewed I spoke.
"Alright I guess. Same old boring equations and pointless fractions," I told her.
"Yeah, wasn't that good for me either," she said, sighing.
Her eyes sparkled but her lips frowned and I knew she was keeping something back.
"Stop withholding information," I moaned, elbowing her side.
She rubbed at her side and laughed.
"Okay, well he was in my class," she said.
"And?" I asked.
I leaned in closer, wanting to hear as much information as I could.
"Well, he came in late and got stuck sat beside Harry," she sniggered.
Dylan choked and laughed loudly.
"He got stuck with Styles?" Dylan laughed.
Haley nodded.
"I don't know why you don't like Harry. He's cool," I huffed.
She sniggered again, and I just ignored her and began eating.
Harry wasn't really part of our group, or part of any group for that matter.
He just kept himself to himself and was rarely around.
I had to be paired up with him last year for our end of year assignment in English.
I was a bit worried that he'd end up being so quiet and not speaking to me.
I didn't know how I'd manage to complete the project with someone who hardly spoke.
But it turned out he was a lot more talkative than I first thought.
And he was really funny too, always cracking the most cheesy but hilarious jokes.
"Cool? Are you serious? That loser just holes himself up in the library," Dylan sniggered.
I rolled my eyes and stood from my seat, grabbing my bag and water bottle.
I left my half eaten tray off food on the table and began to walk away.
"Y/N? Where are you going?" Haley called after me.
"Anywhere but here," I huffed.
I slammed out of the cafeteria doors, not caring that people were staring.
Sometimes I even wondered why I was friends with those people.
They had no sympathy for others and felt too highly of themselves.
They seemed to think they were better than everyone and if someone wasn't on their level, they weren't worthy.
It was bullshit and they knew it, they just wouldn't admit it.
I walked quickly down the hallways, heading for only one place.
