"I don't like him Y/N. He doesn't deserve you. It won't last anyway. He's just one of those filler boys. You'll get yourself a man with a good job and a nice family soon enough," he said.

"Dad I wish you wouldn't talk about him like that. He's a nice guy, he has a good job and his mum is so sweet. Just because he's from a single parent family doesn't mean he's a bad person," I huffed.

"Yes it does. He'll be gone soon enough. Just you wait and see," he replied.

I huffed, and grabbed my bag.

"I don't even care what you say dad. I love him and we're not going to break up," I spat.

I turned and left the room before I said anything I'd later regret.

But as I stepped out of the door I decided I didn't even care.

I'd do anything for Calum, even going against my own dad.

I stuck my head in the door again and called out to him, "Oh and dad. I'm not going to see Y/B/F. I lied. I'm going to see Calum."

I smirked knowing he'd be pissed and just as I slammed the door shut, I heard his booming voice.

"Y/N!" he yelled. "Get back here girl!"

His feet pounded against the floor and I raced to my car, jumping in and speeding out of the drive.

He came out of the door just as I took off and I heard his voice yelling for me to come home.

I knew that I couldn't go home after this.

There was no way my dad would forgive me for disobeying him.

And I'd be locked up in that house.

I drove down the streets feeling free and happy.

I didn't even care that I'd gone against my dad.

It didn't mean I'd have no one.

I'd have Calum and he'd never leave me, he'd promised me.

As I neared a red light my phone lit up and I checked it quickly.

You: Haha, yeah I'm just on my way now. Why what's he's been saying?

Michael: He's just being snappy! I think he misses you. Put him in a good mood because I'm seeing him later

You: Awe okay. I'll see what I can do

I put my phone back and continued driving.

I was almost at Calum's and I couldn't wait to see him.

It had been too long.

As I pulled into his drive, his front door pulled open quickly and he raced out.

He came to my side of the car, opened the door before I could and dragged me out.

"Hello to you too," I giggled.

He grinned, as he reached back and shut the door.

He pushed me back, pressing me against the car door.
