YOUR POV

The boys come up on the stage and I let out a scream

Even after becoming the best of friends with them, I still can't contain my excitement when I see them perform.

The rush I get is immediate and I love watching them.

Ashton comes up, taking a seat behind his drums.

The lights come up slightly, spotlights on the mics and drums.

Ashton pulls back drumsticks, holding them high in the air.

He twirls them in his fingers, before pulling them down.

He bangs on the drums and the crowd goes crazy.

From the right side of the stage, Calum comes running out.

From the left side of the stage, Michael comes running out.

And lastly, appearing from the left is Luke.

He jogs out, his eyes down as he concentrates on his footing.

I laugh remembering when I asked him why he did that.

And he told me he's so clumsily, so he gets scared he might fall and embarrass himself.

He stands up to the mic and scans the crowd.

His mouth pulls up into a big grin and I feel my heart explode with pride.

Seeing him up there, so comfortable and so happy, makes my heart melt.

I love seeing him like this.

The feeling is like no other.

As the concert goes on, I shake my hips, dancing to every song, and singing along to every lyric.

Michael has already noticed me and keeps winking up at me, as I wave.

Calum also noticed me a couple of times, but keeps his concentration solely on his bass.

Ashton head bangs every so often in my direction, and smiles his goofy little smile.

Luke is the only one who hasn't looked for me.

I don't think much of it, I try not to be hurt that he promised and didn't keep it.

I know he's too busy and he's trying to concentrate.

As the last chords of She's Kinda Hot play, the crowd screams and Luke steps up to the mic.

I immediately see he's nervous and my hands clutch at my chest.

I see him take a deep breath, his eyes slightly closing.

What's happening?

I'd checked the setlist online and knew that straight after She's Kinda Hot they play Permanent Vacation.

So why was he stopping?

"Er.... Hi guys," Luke pants.

He coughs, clearing his throat and continues as the crowd stills.

"We had a little change to the setlist last minute and added another song. This song means a lot to me. This song reminds me of someone, someone very special. So this is for you, my very own heartbreak girl. This is Heartbreak Girl," he says.

My own heart stops as I hear those words.

"This is for my very own heartbreak girl"

"My very own heartbreak girl"

"My girl"

The words play over and over in my head and as the chords start, my heart breaks.

He dedicated this song to me.

This song reminds him of me.

For some reason I feel that has more of a meaning behind it than I first thought.

Is he referring to himself as the boy that is just a friend?

The boy who is friendzoned?

Hands wrap around my waist and I jump.

A hot breath fans at my ear and I feel a shiver up my spine.

"I'm having a great time," my boyfriend cooes.

I feel sick to the stomach hearing those words come from his mouth.

Why am I here with him?

What have I done?

I hope that Luke doesn't see me now.

I hope that he doesn't look for me.

I hope that throughout the whole concert his eyes never land on mine.

I just want to turn and run

I want my boyfriend to leave.

I don't want him anymore.

I've been so foolish.

He was just my rebound.

I didn't think Luke even liked me.

What have I done?

As the chorus kicks in, Luke's eyes begin scanning.

No, stop, don't do it!

I can't have him seeing me.

It'll break his heart!

His eyes come closer and I just want the ground to swallow me up.

When they finally land on mine, he smiles.

But then he sees him.

He sees his arms wrapped around my waist, his lips pressed to my neck and he freezes.

He stops singing, he stops playing, but the other boys continue

Calum takes the lead, and Michael backs him, as Luke stays frozen on the spot.

"Luke," I shout, knowing he can't hear me but needing to get his attention.

It seems to work, as he reads my lips and stumbles back.

He doesn't fall, but he comes back to.

He turns and races off the stage.
