I watched from behind the tall oak, as Harry stalked around the park, trying to find us all.

He wasn't too far from where I hid, so I had to be careful of how much I peeked.

He glanced my way and I snapped my head back, pressing my back firmly against the tree.

I giggled quietly and held my breath, a hand clamped over my mouth, praying that he hadn't seen me.

The bush in front of me shook, and a tiny bubble of laughter erupted from the person hiding.

"Shh Niall!" I whispered, which just made him laugh more.

I knew hiding near him wouldn't be a good idea.

That laugh of his could be heard on the other side of the world.

He popped his head up and smiled apologetically at me.

"Sorry," he chuckled.

His eyes looked behind me and a cheeky grin spread across his lips.

"He's gone, wanna go hide somewhere else?" he asked, waggling his eyebrows.

"Why would I wanna hide somewhere else?" I responded.

It had taken me forever to find a good place, because everyone was stealing my ideas.

Each place I'd had in mind, someone had raced ahead of me and got there before I'd had the chance.

Niall cocked his head to the side and stared at me, an eyebrow raised.

"It's always best to find a second hiding place," he explained, as he stood up.

He came towards me, and stood beside me, his back against the tree.

"See, the way I look at it, he'll come looking here soon, and when he does I'll be long gone. I'll be hiding in a place he's already searched, meaning he won't go back, and he won't find me," he revealed.

His eyes lit up at the plan he had devised, and I had a feeling that nothing I could say would change his mind.

In his mind it was a brilliant plan.

"You go ahead and do that then Niall. I think I'm gonna stay here," I responded.

He nodded, before peeking his head out from behind the tree.

He scanned the area for any signs of Harry.

He popped back around and grinned.

"Coast is clear!" he announced. "I'm going in!"

He saluted, before tiptoeing away.

I watched as he slowly crept across the ground, as if he was trying his hardest not to be heard.

Once he was a little farther away, he began a full on sprint, his arms moving quickly at his sides.

I just laughed as I watched his departing figure, racing off in search of a new place to hide.

Liam was the one who came up with the idea to play a game of hide and seek.

Before that, we'd all congregated around the park picnic tables, chatting away amiably.

Harry had sat beside me, his legs on either side of the bench so he was facing the side of me.

Both of his hands had been on my arm, running soothing circles up and down with his fingers.

I could feel his eyes on me as we'd sat there, the smile on his face showing utter peace and serenity, complete contentment.

Harry had scoffed when Liam announced the game.
