* Y/N stands for your name *

CALUMS POV

Ashton continued to chatter away, his voice raising an octave with the excitement he was oozing.

I didn't understand why he was always so happy, so excited and so damn smiley.

I slightly envied him for that.

"Hey, there you guys are," Michael said.

He came to stand beside us both, grinning with a bright eyed Luke by his side.

"What took you guys so long to get here?" Ashton asked.

Michael and Luke looked between each other and chuckled.

"Michael wanted to stop for pizza," Luke said, rolling his eyes.

"Can't go by a pizza place without taking a bite," Michael said, shrugging.

We laughed and he winked.

"So where's Y/N? It's not like you to be without her," Michael observed.

"Bathroom," Ashton said, answering for me.

Michael nodded and began chatting away to Ashton.

Luke excused himself to go get some drinks in and I was left alone, watching the two of them converse.

Y/N still hadn't come back and I wondered what was taking her so long.

I also noticed that Harry hadn't been spotted even once since we'd arrived which was odd.

It seemed like too much of a coincidence that they were both missing, and at the same time.

I backed up a little, and Ashton's eyes followed my movements.

I threw my hands up in the air, pretending to stretch, and pointed around us.

"Needed to stretch," I told him.

He nodded and went back to talking to Calum.

I'd noticed that Ashton was watching me a lot tonight, as if he was observing my every movement.

I knew he wanted to avoid a confrontation at all costs, but right now, if the reason for her being missing was him, I didn't think a confrontation could easily be avoided.

I stepped back some more, a little slower, and noticed he hadn't seen me.

I kept going, keeping my eyes on the pair of them, and luckily, with the the size of the crowds, I was able to escape unseen.

I pushed through the crowds and made my way to the staircase.

I darted up and headed straight for the bathroom.

The door was left ajar and I knocked lightly with my knuckles, calling out her name before entering slowly.

The bathroom was empty.

Where the hell was she?

I was almost too afraid to check the bedrooms, for the crazy thoughts running circles in my mind were making me nervous.

I couldn't believe I was even thinking those things, I trusted her with my life.

I knew she'd never cheat, I knew she wouldn't hurt me.

She loved me.

I trusted her.

It was him I didn't trust.

I checked the first two bedrooms, one was empty and another had a couple eating each other's faces off.

I apologised, and exited quickly.

The last room.

This time I knocked, called out and then went to open it.

The door didn't budge.

It was locked.

I tried the handle a couple more times with no luck.

Could it be?

Was that her?

And him!?

I fisted my hand and thumped on the door, yelling to whoever was behind the door.

"Open this fucking door!" I demanded, my voice breaking.

The music downstairs pounded, making the ground shake and disguising my noise.

"Y/N! Open the door! I mean it!" I yelled.

I leaned my head against the door, my ear pressed to the wood but heard no sound.

Someone was in there and I needed them to open the door.

I needed them to confirm that it wasn't her.

That it wasn't him.

I needed it like I needed my next breath.

I stood back, my jaw clenched but my bottom lip quivering.

I breathed in through my nose and the anger rolled, as I pushed my shoulder into the door.

I barged in, knocking it off its hinges and leaving it hanging ever so slightly from the wall.

The room was empty, the only sound coming from the window, as the wind blew in, moving the curtains.

Fuck!

I looked back at the damage and cursed.

Why did I do that?!

Why did I let my stupid doubts take over?

Why didn't I trust her?

I stepped towards the window and looked out, feeling the breeze blow against my heated cheeks.

The outside was quiet, peaceful and serene.

A complete contradiction to my raging emotions.

My eyes feel to the ground outside of Liam's room.

My blood boiled once again and my cheeks, which had began to cool, heated once more.

She was out there, with him!

She'd lied to me and she'd gone running to him.

I didn't stop to see either of their faces, to see how they were stood.

I just turned on my heel and charged out of the room.

I bounded down the stairs, not caring who I shoved or knocked over.

I didn't care.

I was fuming!

All I saw was red.
