She'd ran from me. But not before she completely broke me and broke the cage around my heart. She thought I was pitying her. She thought I didn't care. She thought I was just doing her a favour.

"Y/N?"

I didn't want to barge into the party. I didn't think she was in there anyway. I'd seen the tears glistening in her eyes. She was hiding from everyone. She didn't want to have people fawning all over her, making sure she was okay. She didn't want anyone to see her cry.

"Y/N," I sighed. "Please come out and talk to me. Let me explain."

A sniffle came from inside the bathroom followed by a sob. I leaned against the wall beside the door. I listened but all went quiet. So I continued talking.

"I need a chance to explain Y/N," I said. "Wherever you are, come out. I'll be at the bar. Come find me when you're ready."

I stayed for several minutes, hoping she'd come out. When she didn't I left.
