"Mer" I whisper shaking her gently.
"What?" She asks annoyed.
"I just wanted to annoy you" I smile.
"Derek I was literally wide awake and you pretended as if I was sleeping" She giggled.
"I know to annoy you" I say.
"Ass" she rolls her eyes.
"I have an amazing ass I know" I nod.
"Shut up and stop at this up coming gas station" she laughs.
"Yes ma'am" I chuckle doing as she says.
"Good I have to pee" she says jumping out of the car.
I chuckle to myself and get out of the car.
I grab an Arizona for me and Meredith changes her mind all.the time so she can grab her own drink. I also grab a snack for me and Meredith's favorite candy. She got an energy drink for herself. We paid and left the gas station.
Once we get in the car she goes through the bag separating my things from hers. "Love you" she smiles as she eats her chocolate.
"I love you to" I smile resting my hand on her thigh.
"How much longer?" She asked.
"Four more hours" I say.
"Only four" she groans.
"Only four" I mimic.
"Not enough time" she sighs dramatically.
"Oh I'm so sorry" I say.
"You should be" she pouts.
"Meredith it will be fine" I say.
"I know I know I just don't wanna go" she sighs.
"I know I know" I sigh giving her a weak smile while rubbing my hand up and down her thigh.
"What if we just turn around now" she smiles looking over to me.
I chuckle shaking my head. "No Meredith" I laugh.
"Do you love me still?" She pouts.
"Of course I love you" I say.
"Then you should turn this car around how about it" she smiles putting her elbow on her knees and looking at me.
"Meredith" I sigh shaking my head.
"Oh please I don't want to go to college" she begs.
"Meredith I promise you when we visit eachother you are going to wish you are back in college" I chuckle.
"You think so?" She asks.
"I do" I nod.
"Well you think wrong" she says.
"Oh uhm well I didn't expect that.." I chuckle running a hand through my hair.
"Please Derek do you want to get rid of me" she pouts.
"No Meredith if I could I would keep you all to myself but you will regret not going" I tell her.
"Fine" she sighs dramatically.
"Hey" I say making her look at me. "I love you" I smile at her before returning my eyes back to the road.
"I love you too sadly" she giggles as I gasp.
"Rude" I say.
"Am not" she argues.
"Are too" I argue back.
"Whatever" she giggles.
"Three more hours" I sigh.
"Three more hours" she repeated smiling weakly while looking over to me.
I smiled weakly back and I grabbed her hand while I continued to drive.
"You're going to do great" I tell her.
"What if something happens like I get in a car crash?" She asks scaredly squeezing my hand.
"Then I'll be on the first flight out here" I tell her.
