Angst + Fluff

××××

Driving is one thing. Driving under pressure is another. That's what you were doing. You got the call from a frantic Mark, saying that there is an alternate outside his door. You quickly got out of the house and drove over there, and you made sure to grab your grandfather's shotgun and pistol.

~~~
Sweat rolled down my face as I put my foot on the gas. I didn't care if I was going past the speed limit, my friend's life was in danger.
Red, Blue, Red, Blue
I scoffed and looked in the rear-view mirror. A cop. Great. I continued to drive, my friend was in danger. Luckily his house was only 5 minutes away from now, and the cop wasn't speeding like I was.
I started to see Mark's house in view. I grabbed the shotgun from my seat, and the pistol. I looked behind me, the cop was still there.
While parking the car I opened the door and ran to Mark's door. I twisted the handel and it was locked. I growled and got ready to kick the door down.
CRASH!!
I raised the shotgun in the air, ready to fire it. Nothing. Then I heard something upstairs.
"Mark, please. Let me ì̷̖͔̺͍͕̳͚̞̰̇̒̍̊͊̃̍͋̕n̸̼͗́̽͌!"
I gasped. It sounded just like Cesar. Did it get him? I pushed the thoughts away and dashed up the steps.
There, before me, was a alternate. Just like Mark said. The worst thing was that it had half of Cesar's face. I felt tears streaming down my face.
"You bastard!!" I yelled and aimed the shotgun. The alternate turned to me and it's smile widened.
"You wouldn't dar-"
Pop.
The alternates body dropped to the floor. Most of it's face was missing, now. It was scattered on the wall, and so were it's brains. I smirked and then turned to Mark's door.
"Mark, it's me!!" I yelled. There was no response.
"Mark, hey, the alternate is dead. Open the door."
The door cracked slightly, revealing a terrified Mark. He took one look at me and fully opened the door.
Mark immediately pulled me into the huffed and sobbed onto my shoulder. I patted his back and returned the hug.
"It's okay, Mark. They're gone."
"It killed Cesar, y/n! It killed him.." Mark cried and held onto me tighter.
Mark and I sat on the floor. He was crying a lot. "I was trapped here for a while. Yesterday it was here, but I couldn't call you!" Mark whined. I patted his head and kissed his forehead.
~~Extra~~
You heard the sound of feet walking up the steps. You turned your head to the stairs as your arm reached out for the shot gun. "Mandela Police!!"
You scoffed and pulled the shotgun closer to you. As the officer walked up the steps you looked at his face.
There was a large smile plastered on its face. A smile too large to be human..
