I stood on my tippy toes as I put the star on top of the Christmas tree. I quickly turned around as I felt the gaze of Gabriel's eyes on the back of my head. My eyes met his and we just stared at eachother. He had a scowl on his face. "Don't be so sour," I scolded. Gabriel crossed his arms and adverted his eyes. "Why don't we just celebrate Halloween, again?" He said in his whispery voice. "Because Halloween is over, and Christmas is next!" His eyes quickly darted back to mine, "Everyone literally skipped Thanksgiving!" I shrugged as Gabriel stopped looking at me but then behind me. I turned around and saw two creatures standing there. One with wings and one alternate. Gabriel quickly snapped his fingers and one faded out, while the other just started walking away. I turned back at Gabriel, "This town is weird-" "-I know." I sighed. "Cookies?" I asked. Gabriel eagerly nodded and stood up from the love-seat.

I walked into the kitchen and grabbed the ingredients that I'd need. My family has passed down this recipe for years, and it has only been passed around in our family. Gabriel stood behind me and watched everything I did. One thing led to another and the cookies were finally in the oven. I looked at Gabriel and I swore his eyes were shining. "Do you bake cookies every Christmas?" He asked me. I nodded and smiled. Soon, the oven beeped, and I took the batch out. Without even waiting for them to cool Gabriel took one and ate it. "Gabriel!" I yelled.  He raised a brow, without even reacting to what regular humans would've reacted to. "I know it's hot, but it doesn't bother me," He stated plainly. I had the most dumbfounded look on my face. I turned my head to the living room window and gasped. "Snow!" I said and I started to run to my room. Gabriel raised a brow and then called to me, "be careful, I don't know where that angel thing went!" I ignored him and got my snow jacket and boots. I then ran down the steps, almost tripping, and told Gabriel to get changed. He just shrugged and opened the front door. A blast of cold air was sent into the house and I quickly told him to get back inside. He stepped out. I ran out, "Gabriel!" He turned towards me. "Wear something warmer!" Gabriel sighed, "I know it's cold, but it doesn't bother me." I crossed my arms and stepped out into the snow.

"You see how nice snow is?" I asked him. He nodded. "Does this happen every Christmas?" I shook my head, "In some places it does, in others it doesn't." Gabriel's smile got even bigger. "You wanna see something cool?" He asked me. I shook my head, yes. Gabriel flopped onto the ground and started moving. "Are you making a snow," Gabriel glared at me. "......creature?" He rolled his eyes, "sure, y/n." I giggled and picked him up. "This is what happens every Christmas!" I say happily. "And there is so much more." Gabriel looks at me, "like what?" I wrapped my arm around him which he pushed off, "You'll see!"
