Mark was not surprised by alternates existing in this world. If a moth hybrid could, so could they. Yeah, that's right- a moth hybrid. Mark's partner was one! They had nice, soft, fragile wings that helped them fly. They also had some fur around their neck, and Mark just loved it. It was a perfect match & Mark always felt safe around them.
Mark would always stare at you, wondering how he was able to date someone as awesome as you. You would occasionally catch him in the act and he would quickly look away, embarrassed.
"Mark, why were you staring at me?" You ask softly as you lean on him slightly.
Mark looked down at you, his brown eyes showing embarrassment. His cheeks were flushed with all different shades of red and pink.
"I- Uh, uhm- I" Mark stuttered. He was all over the place. You giggled at his nervousness. You put a hand on his shoulder and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Mark softly sighed.
"You are just- you're so damn cute. I don't know how someone like you can like someone like me.." Mark admitted. You gasped and hugged him. "Awhhh. How could someone not love you?" You whispered. Mark cracked a smile and kissed your forehead.
"You look so pretty," Mark muttered. You smiled and laid your head on his lap. Mark looked at you once more and pet your head. You melted into his touch. Mark's hands were nice and warm, you couldn't get enough of him.
You rubbed up against Mark's hand. A chuckle escaped his lips as you did. A yawn then left him after. "Baby, I'm tired..." Mark whispered into your ear. You smiled and responded, "Mmm, me too. Let's go to bed.." After hearing that Mark picked you up quickly and walked to the bedroom you two shared. You thought that it was cute, you always found him cute. The same goes for Mark.
