Your terrified eyes stared up into the now grey, dark skies. In those dark skies was an angel, or something like one. It floated there with a sickening grin, and its wide eyes stared into yours. You didn't even know how you got there. Oh, poor you, you had just woken up from a nightmare and you were shocked to see that you were in a monochrome field. The grass tickled your exposed skin and you shuttered.
" Y/n ," the angel chanted.
You looked up at it, sitting completely still. Your mind was scattered, and you didn't know what to do. Your breathing was ragged and uneven, and your eyes quickly darted around your scenery.
" My kind. I haven't met someone....like me, " it said as its smile grew.
You attempted to pick yourself off of the ground, but there was no use. It felt as if gravity held you down, and didn't want you to go. The "angel" shook its head and tsk-ed. "Saint," it boomed, "don't leave me now. You're just like me." It disgusted you to think that this thing was comparing itself to you . You were nothing like it, and you knew that because you knew what it was. This is why the broadcast said to not participate in any religious things. This creature was walking around, posing as a religious figure; Gabriel the Archangel . You sucked up all of your silence.
"I'm nothing like you."
Its eyes widened and his head cocked to the left.
" What ? " It spat.
A chill ran down your spine, and you shuttered sharply.
" Y/n, dear, " it hissed, " why do you think you never got attacked by an alternate?" You were quiet. "Why do you think when you saw that figure down the road that one night, remember, you were shaking in the rain? You yelled, what was it again, oh yes! 'Leave me alone, " the alternate spoke. " It listened to you Y/n, you had control," the angel spat. "We have the same power , mostly, the same power."
" And there's not enough room for the two of us. "
