Jake pulled into the garage just as Giuseppe was getting out of his car. It made them remember the news video that Jordan showed them that morning.
"Should we ask him what he was doing behind the scenes during a live telecast?" Addison asked. "Thing is, I dunno if it's the best idea."
"I think we should," Jake said, stopping the engine. "Because he lives with us and that was a suspicious act."
"You do it, then," Addison said.
Jake turned to her in surprise. "Me? Why me?"
"Because you're his bestie," Addison grinned.
"But you're his student," Jake countered.
"Yeah, but you were in a first-name basis with him before me," Addison argued. "So therefore, you're closer."
Jake groaned. "Ugh, fine."
He got out of the car and opened the back door to retrieve his bag before going over to Giuseppe, who waited for them at the door. It just made things seem more weird.
"So, uh, hey, Giuseppe," Jake greeted as he got closer. "Just back from work?"
"Nah, not really," Giuseppe said as the two of them walked off.
Addison watched as they disappeared into the dining hall and ran up to her room. She planned on ambushing Jake again later.
Jordan was waiting for her at the top of the stairs, much to her surprise.
"Can I have a word with you?" Jordan said.
Addison nodded and went over to the side railings that overlooked the living room. "Sure."
Jordan sighed. "In private?"
"But there's no one here," Addison pointed out.
Just then, she spotted Giuseppe making his way up the stairs. Jordan brought her to his room and closed the door behind them. Addison took a look around, a quick scan, and saw that the room was very much like hers in layout, just that it was a lot messier. The redhead left his dirty laundry all over the place instead of placing them in a bag for easy carrying.
"Your room stinks," Addison said, fanning the front of her face with her hand. "What is it you wanted to tell me?"
Jordan sighed. "I think Galante's our Superhero."
"Why?" Addison was actually surprised. "Are... are you sure?"
"A hundred percent," Jordan determinedly said. "How else would you explain his disappearing act?"
"Disappearing act?" Addison repeated, confused. "What do you mean?"
Jordan sighed and shifted his legs slightly. "Have you ever been talking to him in school and the next minute he's gone? He disappears the moment you turn around? Has that ever happened with you before?"
Addison frowned slightly. It was true, he did have a habit of disappearing rapidly after a conversation. One minute he's there, and the next he's vanished into thin air. Addison realised that Jordan was onto something.
"Yes, I've noticed that," Addison nodded slowly. "He does disappear so quickly."
"How do you think he does that, if he's not the Superhero?" Jordan spat. "Yes, he's definitely the Superhero. We just need to stalk him."
Addison frowned. "But then... how does he do it so fast? I've seen how the Superhero disappears, his hands start glowing first and only when it consumes his whole form does he disappear."
Jordan gave her a funny look. "Then how do you explain his other public appearances where he rescues everything from humans to cats?"
"Fine, maybe it's him," Addison sighed. "But we can't just accuse him yet. We don't have proof." Her eyes widened when she realised something. "Wait... remember that dude that fell off the railing? Galante was the only one who sprang in to help. Even you just took videos like everyone else."
Jordan frowned at the reminder, especially since she was indirectly jabbing it in his face too. "Alright, fine. But yes, I think that counts as evidence. Also, the fact that he's always late when classes end at six."
"Six?" Addison said in surprise. "But I thought... classes end at 7.30?"
Jordan shook his head. "No, it's six. After that, there are very few who hang around. Very few."
Addison nodded slowly. "Right. Then what time does Sundeer close?"
"Nine," Jordan said. "Things are usually slow the last three hours so I usually use this time for assignments and things."
"Okay..." Addison stepped towards the doorway. "We should investigate further. Right now... I need to go. Need to prepare for Galante class too."
Jordan groaned. "Right, forgot that was a thing..."
Addison left the room and retreated into hers. Jordan's suspicions still rang in her ears. She saw what he was saying did make perfect sense, and it's not like the thought never crossed her mind before. Addison frowned slightly when her gaze fell on her 'case file', which she mostly prepared for no reason, but it still made her feel like a detective whenever she wrote her findings in it.
She collected her clothes and made her way to the bathroom.

Jordan was half-asleep when Galante class ended. Jake snorted and backhanded the redhead to wake him. Jordan grunted and sat up, looking around in surprise.
"Yeah, we better call it a night," Giuseppe said, packing his things.
Jordan perked up slightly as he scratched his eye. "Sir, I have a question."
"What is it?" Galante asked, expecting a question that had to do with class.
"What were you doing in the background of yesterday's weather news?" Jordan interrogated.
Giuseppe stopped short and slowly turned to him. "What are you talking about?"
Jordan took his phone out as if to prove something and handed it to him with the video footage of the previous day's live weather news. Giuseppe stared at in shock, unable to utter a word as he realised how he had been caught.
"What were you doing back there?" Jordan prodded. "You look sus, Sir."
Giuseppe's gaze shifted from the screen to the redhead's face as he leaned back. "And why do I have to tell you?"
Jordan shrugged, also leaning back. "Because we kinda live together?"
"Not a good enough reason," Giuseppe shrugged. "But I'll tell you anyway. I just happened to be there and my wallet fell out of my pocket."
"But why were you there?" Jordan poked further. "Like why there despite how there's live news going on?"
Giuseppe smirked. "Can't I? Maybe I wanna be seen in live news? Maybe it makes me feel like a celebrity? Or maybe I was curious or excited to see live news happening right in fronta me."
Jordan frowned. Giuseppe's accent was slipping in, something which they observed only happened when he got frustrated with something. It wasn't wrong that most people invaded live broadcasts for this same reason. In the end, the redhead just shrugged and grabbed his things. Addison, who had been sitting there long enough to see the outcome, quickly got up and hurried off to her room as well.
She sat at her table and took that thickening case file out to write.
Dodged Jordan's question when asked about live telecast.
