"Wow, that was a good one!" Chaeyoung exclaimed after she finished her food.

"We can tell." Momo butted in.

Chaeyoung, Dahyun, and Momo, including me are in the same class. But I can really tell that Momo doesn't like the two.

It's not that she hates them for no reason. Chaeyoung and Dahyun are best friends and biggest menace in class. Not just in class, actually.

So I could understand why Momo doesn't like these two. And if you're gonna ask me, what do I think about it?

It's totally fine. Chaeyoung and Dahyun still have this generosity in their minds. The fact that they still consider me as the president of the student council.

And when it comes to working with school projects, they never forget to contribute their sides.

You can say that since they got here, I am the only student who was able to resist their attitude. That's why they've been wanting to be my partner in school projects ever since.

"Y/N, your roommate." Momo said which made me snap out of my thoughts.

I searched for her and saw her not so far. But I don't like what I am seeing.

Is she in trouble? Too much happenings for her first day here huh?

"I think they got a new target." I heard Chaeyoung said referring to the group surrounding Tzuyu.

"Oh no, not now." I said and left our table.

I walked towards the place where Tzuyu is. And closer by closer, I can already hear what is happening.

"Hi guys! I see you are welcoming the new student." I said making them look at me.

"President." Nayeon called as she saw me.

I smiled at her and looked at her other friends, Jeongyeon, Sana, Mina, and the leader, Jihyo.

"Stop calling her president. We all know she rigged it." Jihyo said.

I didn't mind what she said, because in the first place, it's not true.

"And just to tell you, no. We are not doing something to her. We just welcomed her." She said.

"That's what I said a few minutes ago." I said.

"Ugh, whatever. Let's go girls." Jihyo said and left with her other friends.

I just watched them walk away before I looked at Tzuyu.

"Are you here to eat? We have a vacant-"

"No thanks." She said and about to leave when I stopped her.

"If they bother you, just tell me." I said before she shrugged and walked away too.

I walked back to our table where Momo, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung.

"What happened?"

"Nothing new, just Jihyo and her squad wanted to mess with the new ones." I said as if I'm tired of it.

"I can't really believe that from friends, you became enemies. Just because of -"

"I'm done, let's go?" I asked, changing the topic that Dahyun started.

"Well I'm done too, let's go." Momo said.

"Wait, I am not done yet!" Dahyun said.

"Don't worry, Chaeyoung will wait for you. Let's go, Y/N." Momo said as she dragged me out of the café.

We are walking outside the school, heading back to our dorm.

"Don't tell me you are still affected?" Momo asked after she noticed my silence.

"I don't know, Momo. Dahyun was right, it's unbelievable that Jihyo and I became enemies just because of what? Me being the president of this school?"

"Yeah"

"I know Jihyo, it's not just because of that. But what?" I added.

"Well at least her other friends are not a pain in your ass."

"I don't have a problem with them, Mina is my vice president. And she respects me the way I do the same to her." I said.

"Well, Jeongyeon is my roommate, what can you say." Momo shrugged.

I know that Momo is doing fine with Jeongyeon too. Since if not, she will tell me right away.

"I hope before we graduate Jihyo and you will be good." Momo said.

"I don't know."

I stopped as we are already in front of my room.

"See you when I see you." I said.

"Yeah, have a nice day tomorrow!" She said as she knows that every Saturday is my time with my mother.

I entered my room and noticed the silence around.

"She's probably still outside." I said.

I walked in my table to do some things that I should do. After several minutes, I heard the door went open, and then I saw Tzuyu.

I immediately stepped out of my table and faced her. The fact that she's trying to sneak but failed is the funniest thing ever.

"Hi!"

She didn't replied but walked to her bed with bunch of snacks that she probably got in our cafeteria.

"Are you eating it by yourself?" I asked.

It's not that I usually care about people. Well, sometimes... but I just want us to be close since we are roommates.

"You're not just the principal's daughter, you're also the president of school council." She said.

"Uhm, yup. But that's not im—"

"Then no wonder why I have the feeling of not wanting to befriend you." She said which made me stopped.

Excuse me!?

"People like you is someone that I should avoid. So if you're expecting us to be close, better stop your imagination. It's not that I don't like you, I am just avoiding messed up situations." She said.

"Oh." The only thing I said.

"Yeah, so you can just act like you don't see me. In return, I'll do the same." She said without even looking at me.

I see what she wants to say. She doesn't want friends! But why?

"You want me to act as if I am the only one who's in this room, am I right?" I asked.

She hummed but I don't know if that is a reply to my question or is it just she's enjoying her food alone.

I walked to my table, thinking of something else. I saw my little Bluetooth speaker and connected it to my phone.

I started playing my favorite song outloud, but not to loud since there's room beside us.

But not just that! I sang along with it and I don't care if anytime now she'll react.

"If you think a loud music will piss me off, no. Just like what I said, don't mind me, I won't mind you." She said.

I sighed as I gave up and turned off my speaker.

"Fine. You're the best roommate, ever." I mumbled not sure if she heard it.
