29. Special History

Tzuyu's PoV

Our first class has ended but Y/N is still not here. Even though Mina came back a few minutes ago.

"Since we are having new subjects, we have to deduct subjects too. In the morning you are all required to attend academic classes with four subjects. Those are world history, language, mathematics, and science. In the afternoon, you have two subjects. Special History and  Ability Education." Our teacher said.

"And obviously, the students who were part of the last week punishable active won't be attending the afternoon class. You are expected to be in your dorm or be somewhere around the school but not in the new facility."

"Ability Education sounds fun." Chaeyoung said.

"For now, wait for your next teacher. I'll see you later for your afternoon class." Our teacher said and left.

Just in time, Y/N arrived and talked to our teacher to tell him why she didn't attend the first class.

"Hey, how was it going?" I asked as she walked to her seat.

"It was fine." She said and just smiled.

Our next teacher came. The whole time, our attention is just on our teacher. Time passed by and it's already lunch break.

"Let's go to the cafeteria. I'm pretty the long line is back again since the other students are back." Dahyun said.

As we got in the cafeteria, Dahyun was right. The line is pretty long.

"We'll order up for our lunch. My treat." Y/N said which made us all look at her.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, get us a vacant table. Tzuyu and I will order our food." Y/N said.

I didn't argue anymore since I want to get my own food too. Momo, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung told us what they want to have. After that we went to the line and waited there.

"Hey, I just want to say sorry." Y/N said which made me looked at her confusedly.

"For?"

"Last time, when I acted mad at you. When you just tried to say the truth on how you thing about this school."

"You're still thinking about it? I honestly forgot about that the next day." I said which I really was.

"I just realized a while ago that you're right. This school hold the students for long. But it's good that they changed the policy now." Y/N said.

I looked at her weirdly as I didn't expect her to be this serious again. I'd rather prefer to see her goofying around than like this.

"You know, I have my mom and friends. That's why I didn't really think about what is really happening around. It sounds selfish, but I was contented with that."

"I know, that's pretty obvious with your personality."

"My personality? Why? What's my personality?" She asked backed on her goofy side.

"That... You're funny, energetic person."

"I don't get it."

"I mean you value your friends and family. That is what you only needed. You don't care how living hell you are in as long you're with them and they are okay." I sais which made her laugh and nod.

"Yeah, that's right."

"But I am more happy now. Since everyone in here is excited for the new change. I just know that I won't hear any unsupported reviews of the students."

"You really love this school, don't you. You are treating this like your family that if anyone is after it, then they're your enemies."

"Exactly."

"Well too fortunate for me because the school rules have changed. I won't have any reason to bash it again." I said which made her laugh.

"Oh yeah, this school is going to be a perfect place for us."

"Good afternoon everyone, we see each other again. And this time your class number is down to half of your original class since the others can't join us. As I am your first academic subject teacher in morning class, I'll be also your teacher in special history." Sir said.

"Sir, are we gonna stay here? I thought there's a new facility for new subject?" Chaeyoung asked.

"There is. But I prefer to save it later for your last subject. Besides this is just a history. We don't need to leave this room." Our teacher said.

Some students suddenly made a reaction towards our teacher's decision. Even myself would react like that. I mean what's the point of having new place for us to use when he'll just decided to not to.

"Come on guys. This is just for now. It's introduction so just spare me."

"Okay sir."

"Okay, so our subject is special history. As the sunject said, this is a history. I know you don't like it but this is a specialized subject for you all."

"How so, sir?"

"Because we are talking about yourselves."

I saw how our other classmates changed their reaction. I am excited too since I really want to know more about us.

"As you all know, everyone in this school are students with unusual abilities that differs from normal people. We called it powers. But what you didn't know is powers have different categories."

"Well I know about that." I heard Chaeyoung whispered.

"This is according to our greatest researchers. You know that half of the popularity of this school are founded by the researchers under government. Few years ago, a team was made to study about human intelligence. This includes the psychological thinking of everyone, the human interaction and so on. But a this particular team went deeper than the said project. That's how they discovered that people aren't just people."

"The oldest group of unordinaries are the mythical creatures. Sounds childish and imaginative but they do exists. And some of you are part of this oldest group."

"For example, Son Chaeyoung. Her bloodline is a group of mermaids. Which she has access to all the abilities that mermaids can do."

"Other examples are Jeongyeon, Momo, and Sana. Jeongyeon has the wings of a phoenix and can burst fire. Momo is from a family of fairies. And for Sana, a power came from a gorgon. Allowing her to control and make friends with their snakes."

I looked at them and I can't help but to feel amazed. And them hearing their names is sending proudful moments for them.

"There are more students here that is classified as mythical group. In fact there are more mythical inclined powers that someone may have. Here are the lists and I might want you guys to write it down to your notes also."

"Vampires? Woah, this is sick. But it will be so scary if we have someone who's part of the vampire bloodline." Chaeyoung said."

"I wouldn't say that, if I was you." Our prof said which made the class laugh.

"No I'm just kidding. Actually, most of the creatures on this list were extinct. Like I said, this is the oldest group. That includes Vampire. Well we don't know, but that is based on the research. Let's just hope it's true because Vampires are worse especially they can suck our blood off."

"I'm not scared of Vampires, have you seen Edward Cullen? I must say Werewolves are much scarier." Y/N said.

"Point taken."
