44. Your Shoulder

Third Person

Y/N and Tzuyu stayed silent. Y/N still holding Tzuyu's hand, waiting for her to become better.

After minutes, Tzuyu finally hung her head up. Y/N on the other hand immediately looks at the latter. Her eyes were tinted with sadness, with her lips slightly frowning.

Y/N didn't talk and just waited. Although she's curious, her eyes were stuck on Tzuyu's as if she can read Tzuyu's mind if she'll do.

"What happened?" Y/N asked softly.

Tzuyu shrugged as she stop herself from being emotional which Y/N noticed already.

"I cry sometimes too... Especially when it's really heavy, I can't handle simple problems especially if they are about my emotions." I said.

"It won't make you weak if you'll cry," I added.

She let out a sigh as she held my hands tighter.

"I won't judge you, I promise," I said which made her laugh lightly.

"I know..." She said.

"I just don't find the right words to say that I am alone now." She said which made me frown.

"What do you mean? You know I am here for you."

"Not that... My parents." She said.

"Dad just admitted to me... The mother I knew is not my real mother. He said he doesn't have a choice but to keep me. That made me feel more alone, Y/N. As if I have no right to be accepted by someone."

"Didn't they accept you?" Y/N asked genuinely.

"They didn't. All my life, that is just what I am holding with. That they are my parents even if they don't give me the love that I must get. And now, it all disappeared." Tzuyu said, staring into nowhere.

"Now it makes sense why they have to treat me differently. It's not just because I'm not normal, but also because they never loved me."

Y/N remained silent as she doesn't know what to say. She doesn't want to say things that the latter may misunderstand that's why she just stays quiet and comfort the latter with a hug.

"I wish they just ended me," Tzuyu said which broke Y/N.

"Don't say that...please. I can't imagine this room without you. You are my roommate and my only roommate. Sure they might not show the love you expect, but you can't just find it to them. I also love you, Tzuyu. Believe me. You're more than just a roommate, you're my friend... And it is so sad that you are wishing for it." Y/N said with tears forming in her eyes.

Tzuyu sensed the tone of the latter which made her look into her. By that time, Tzuyu felt that she was not unloved. That she deserves to be loved too.

And suddenly, her stained and broken heart changed.

Tzuyu just smiled at the latter as she also did the same.

"I'm sorry this happened to you," Y/N said.

"You don't need to, I'm thankful you are here."

It's already lunch as Y/N and Tzuyu decided to leave their dorm. They headed to the cafeteria together and just waited for the others.

"Now that you know the truth... What will you do?" Y/N asked.

Tzuyu looked at her for a few minutes before Y/N realized that look.

"Right, it's none of my business... Sorry."
