Your PoV
It's already 1 in the afternoon and I already had lunch with my mom. I bid goodbye since she still has things to finish.
I left school and walked back to the dorm. I know some students were out, that explains why the hallway was quiet.
I am now standing outside my room when I suddenly remember that scene I saw yesterday. Even tho I have my key, I don't have the courage to open the door. I might see that again.
I knocked first and waited but nothing happened. Which made me to slowly put my ears against the door to hear the other side.
"Why I can't hear anything?" I mumbled.
"What are you doing?"
I looked at the person who spoke behind me and saw Tzuyu.
She's staring at me as if she's judging my whole existence.
"Huh?"
"What are you doing?" She repeated.
I saw the bag of chips she's carrying so instead of answering, I changed the topic.
"Don't you wanna eat it at the cafeteria? You really had to bring those in our room?" I asked.
She frowned and looked at the door.
"Don't you wanna open it?"
I sighed in defeat after she dodged the question I asked to dodge her other question.
I opened the door and we both entered.
"Did you got a visit from your parents?" I asked as she closed the door behind with her foot and walked in her bed.
"No."
"Why not?" I asked curiously.
"I just got here yesterday." She said sassily.
I suddenly remember what my mom asked me to do.
"Do you want me to tour you later after you eat? I bet you want to know every edge of this school." I said.
"No thanks."
"Are you sure? I got free time." I asked again.
"No, I'd rather stay here." She said.
What in an introverted roommate I have.
I sighed in my thoughts as I know that I'll be using much energy just with her.
"You want me to introduce you to my friends?" I asked.
"The one who you with yesterday?" She asked which lit the excitement in me.
"You saw me with Momo?!"
"Yeah, plus the two other students." She said, opening that bag of her chips.
I left my bed to sit on her bed and get a piece of chips.
"Uhuh!"
She looked at me as if she's asking where did I get the courage to be like that. But I was really like that. Sorry not sorry.
"No thanks." She said as she also took away her chips to me when I tried to get another one.
"Why not? You're not planning to end this school year without any friends." I said.
"Friends, I don't need any of that." She whispered but I heard it crystal clear.
I stood up and faced her while crossing my arms.
"Are you for real? Who wants to stay here without any friends?"
"You're saying that this school is boring and that I need a friend to fulfill my satisfaction." She said which made me snap.
"Of course not! This school is the best."
"You said so." She shrugged as if she want me to believe that she believes me but she's actually not.
"This school is the best out if the best. Not just because my mom is the principal. But because of the students who will treat you like a family too." I said.
"That's why you have your enemies, what are their names again? Jihyo?" She asked.
I gasped and squinted my eyes on the information she just said.
"You little sneaky nosy person."
"So I'm right. This is just like one of the normal school I enrolled with. Casual groups, outcasts, and many more." She said as she ate her chips.
"Also, this is like a prison. Who thought of the idea of parents visiting their children every weekend?" She said.
"Excuse me? Are you bashing this school? Right really in front of my face?"
"I'm critisizing it. If you can't accept it, then you should stop talking to me." She said.
"Fine, do whatever you want." I gushed and left the room.
I stand there outside the room as I chilled myself down.
I left the building since I don't want to go back to our room yet. I went to the place that only me knows where.
This school have two gates. The one is the first gate you'll see when you are in the school.
I exited that gate without anyone noticing me. How? Let's say, I've been doing this for long.
After that, there's one more gate that I need to pass. It is the giant gate separating this place to the forest outside.
I saw the rope that I tied long ago there. I used it to go to the other side, which is the forest.
"Sometimes, I need to have a rest on being the school president." I said to myself.
I walked in the forest without any clue of what will I find in here. Of course, I didn't walk too far, so that I can go back right away.
I was walking and enjoying every new flowers that I am discovering.
"I should have brought my bag. I want to get one for my room." I said as I adored the birthroot flower.
Although I am not sure if it will survive in a room temperature.
I continued my search until I heard something not so far.
I became alert right away. I know where I am, and what danger awaits on me.
I walked slowly, closer to the noise where I heard it came from.
As I looked over the bushes, I saw something that made me stop breathing.
That thing and I made an eye contact. But instead of fear, I felt empathy towards the big bear who's struggling visibly.
It growled as soon as it saw me. Not so loud, more like a growl of help.
My eyes went down to it's paw as I saw swelling.
"Oh no, you need help."
