24. Power and Consequences

Tzuyu's PoV

It's already morning and I barely slept last night. I think it's not just me, even Y/N.

As far as I remember, we went back in the dorm around four. And we even stayed up until five because I can't sleep and keep asking questions on Y/N.

But then she said that she needs to sleep even for an hour.

I went out of my bed to go to the bathroom and take a shower. It only took short time after I finished. I walked out of the bathroom and get in my uniform.

I looked back and saw Y/N still sleeping.

"Y/N, wake up. You'll be late if you don't get up."

She groaned and buried her face on the pillow. I took her alarm and advanced it making it ring.

"Wake up."

Finally, she get up on her bed. And check her alarm that is on her bedsheet.

"Ughh! I just slept for an hour!"

"I didn't sleep at all. Get up, we still need to go to school."

She walked to the bathroom and shut the door. Since I am done, I decided to just wait on her.

After minutes, she came out and get in her uniform.

"I think I need to get some medicine at the clinic. My head is pounding crazy." She said.

"Let's go?" I asked and get my bag.

"Yeah."

We walked out of the room and left the dorm to go to the school. The who field is so silent. I can only see frw students.

"What will happen to those students that were caught?" I asked on Y/N.

"I don't know. I'm sure mom is thinking about it."

Now that I know that I am not just the unordinary one, I felt a big relief.

"Tzuyu, tell me honestly, is the reason why you wanted to leave this school is because you thought you were different from us?" She asked as if she just heard what I was thinking.

She looked at me in the eyes which sends me a very strange feeling.

"Is that why you wanted to go and dropout?" She asked.

"No." I lied and continued to walk but she said something that made me stop.

"You're a bad liar. I know that's what you felt the moment you said those words to me. It's like you were so afriad that the only way to save yourself and us is to leave this school. But remember that starting from now, you'll never be by yourself."

I looked at her and saw her serious expression. The first time I saw that expression is when I found out that she's not an ordinary person. And it's strange since I didn't know her with that personality.

She's more of a jolly, energetic, and smart person who always go around to annoy me.

"Next time that you'll lie, try to make it more realistic, maybe I'll believe you... Maybe." She shrugged as her usual expression came back.

We continued to walk to the school and saw Momo, Chaeyoung, and Dahyun.

"Guys! Did you hear what happened last night?!" Dahyun said.

"Yup." Y/N replied.

"Ms. Hong required everyone to go to the social hall. I guess there will be a big announcement." Chaeyoung said.

"I'm actually worried. I woke up and Jeongyeon was not there." Momo said since they're roommates.

I looked at Y/N and she also looked at me as if she's thinking the same thing.
