96. Off

Tzuyu's PoV

"Are you okay? How are you feeling?" Y/N asked as she gave me the blanket to cover myself.

"I'm good, don't worry. How about you?" I asked.

She smiled caressing my cheek to keep myself warm even with just blanket.

"I'm okay."

"We're close to the school. We're  heading now to the forest so let's still be alert." Jeongyeon said.

"Those vampires... Do you think there's many of them?" Sana asked.

"I mean hopefully not. But I doubt it." Mina said.

"If not because of your idea, we're dead already." Chaeyoung said.

"Or maybe part of them too." Dahyun added.

"That shit is crazy. I don't know if I can still handle what will happen next." Momo said.

"Have you tried calling your mom, Y/N? Maybe we could ask help immediately. We don't know what awaits on us." Jihyo asked on Y/N.

Y/N looked at her and shake her head.

"Here, use this." Nayeon said and gave Y/N a phone.

Y/N get it and tried to dial her mother's number. We are all waiting for her and even her.

As her eyes lit and a small gasped escaped from her, we already know that she able to contact them.

"Mom? Mom this is Y/N. We need your help."

"Say that we're on our way back to school." Jeongyeon said.

"I'm with Tzuyu and the others. We need help mom. T-the vampires. I think they already killed granny." Y/N said as she started to tear up.

Her voice went shaky so I reached for her hand and squeezed it to say that I'm just on her side.

"Y-yes mom. I'm with them... Jeongyeon said we are close. But we need a backup in case vampires tracked us again."

"Yes mom, thank you. I love you." Y/N said as she turned the call down and gave back the phone to Nayeon.

"It's getting better now. Don't worry." I said.

She just smiled and rest her head on my shoulder as we wait until we get to school grounds.

"I think we also need to report about our encounter with vampires and how we dealt with them. It will help so that they'll have idea how to defeat vampires." Mina said.

"I'm pretty sure they already know about ways to defeat them. They just need more people. It's pretty time that the vampires are attacking now since students were all scattered around, back to their houses. We can't fight them all together." I said.

"That's right. It's a perfect timing for them." Y/N said.

"If that's the case, maybe the school needs to call the students back. Trained them so that can not just help ourselves but the normal people. After all, that's our role in this world... They kept us to be protectors of normal people." Jihyo said.

"That's kinda sad... But you're right. That's our only purpose." Nayeon said.

It's darker already as we arrived at the entrance of the forest. Jihyo asked Y/N to call her mother again to inform that we'll be entering the place already and so they can wait for us outside if ever something will happen.

As we get in the forest, I noticed how quiet the place is. I already expected that since this place is very far from the civilization. I'm sure that only a few people who knows there's a school in here.

"It's getting colder... Are you okay?" Y/N asked.

I just nodded as I am fine with what I have right now. For reason, I don't feel that cold even if I don't have anything underneath and just covered by blanket.

"Where are they? I hope they'll also get us here. I don't think our car can still manage to get into the school gate." Jeongyeon said.

"Mom said she already sent a team for us. They're probably on their way too."

"Team?" I heard Jihyo uttered.

Suddenly, I heard sounds from a far. It's not just one sound but many. I was alerted so I keep my eyes on the way. Then suddenly, a group of people with lights with them came. They are the school patrol based on their uniforms.

Jeongyeon stopped as the patrols went close to us.

"Are you the girls who called the principal?"

"Yes, I'm her daughter. They also study here." Y/N said.

"Okay, follow us."

"Wait, where's mom?" Y/N asked.

"She has more important things to do. She sent us to escort you to the school. Are you sure no one was able to  follow you here?" 

"Yes. We already stopped them before we got here." Jeongyeon said.

"Okay, follow us."

"We'll be in the car. Just lead us the way." Jihyo said.

We closed the van again as Jeongyeon started it. I looked at the people around and they aren't even armed...

Something's going on...

"Wait... We need to go back." I said.

"What?" Y/N asked beside me.

"She's right. I don't feel good either. The wind tells me something is going on inside the school."

"What are you talking about? We just talked to mom?" Y/N said.

Since Jeongyeon stopped moving. The patrol knocked on our door and Dahyun opened it.

"What are you waiting for? We can't stay here in the wounds. It's dangerous."

"Yeah... Our driver was tired so she needs to be replace." Mina said to the patrol man.

Dahyun closed the door again and the car filled with silence and stares.

"I really feel like something's wrong is going on there..." Jihyo said.

"And these men... They aren't even armed like those we see before the vacation." I added.

"If there's something wrong inside, then we still need to get in. My mom is there." Y/N said.

"I think we have no choice. We all are exhausted. The car can't go for long. Let's just be alert... And I hope nothing will happen." Jeongyeon said

"That's right. As we get there, let's see the principal. Maybe it's time for her to tell us about the future she saw." -Mina

"Right... Don't let your guards down."-Nayeon.

"I'll grab information as we get there too. It's a good thing it's night time, it's windy... I think we could get information after." Jihyo said.
