41. Letter

Your PoV

It's already our lunch break. Meaning, after this, I can go back to the dorm since I am not allowed to attend any subject in our afternoon class.

I already told to Tzuyu and the others what happened. Of course, they aren't happy with it. But they said that I don't have to worry because they could give me the lessons that they have tackled. Especially Tzuyu.

"I guess you can't be my partner in A.E now." Tzuyu said.

"Well, yeah... Well you can just choose from our other classmates." I said.

Tzuyu just nodded and we continued to eat again. Not so long the bell rang indicating that the next class is up. We all left our table as we headed out of the cafeteria.

"Goodluck guys, I'll see you later." I said.

"See you Y/N." They said as they walked away.

Tzuyu looked back at me so I just smiled and signed that it's okay.

As they had already left, I decided to go back to the dorm. Even if it's just a half day for me, I felt so tired already. Besides, I didn't sleep well last night.

I climbed to my bed, without thinking about changing from my uniform. I just let my eyes shut as I relax my whole body on my fluffy bed.

I woke up after a short nap. But strangely, I felt like I slept for long. I looked at the clock and realized that I just slept for one and a half hours.

I found myself still in my uniform so I changed my clothes.

After that, I was planning to go back to my bed when I saw something on the floor. A white envelope without anything written outside.

I first thought maybe it belonged to Tzuyu, then I noticed that the envelope was opened. I don't know what comes to my mind when I decided to open and get the paper inside that letter envelope.

My intention was just to check if it was Tzuyu's, but as I saw my name, I frowned and checked who gave it to me.

I can't even remember someone gave me a letter. I also didn't think it came from me since the letter says it's for me.

"Strange." I mumbled and read the content.

My mind literally went blank as I read what was in the letter.

'Y/N, watch your roommate. Don't trust her easily. If you want to stay longer here, don't put your guard down on her.'

I don't know if it is some kind of prank. Why will someone write something like that?

I sat on my table as I wonder who could be the person who gave this to me. And why do they want me to watch on Tzuyu?

I don't want to think anything bad against Tzuyu. But yesterday is just so strange. I know that she's lying when she said she went back here in the dorm. But why?

"Stop it Y/N. You don't have to do this." I said to myself.

I keep on trying to convince myself but I know I can't stop this suspicion if I won't find an answer.

I looked at the envelope again as I think of what should I do. I grabbed my scissors and cut it into pieces before throwing in the garbage.

"No, not too soon."

I am sitting at my table for I don't know how long when I heard the door went opened and Tzuyu came in.

"Hey."

"Hi... How's the afternoon class?" I asked.

"Tiring. Here are the notes." She said and gave it to me.

I didn't take it immediately as I am still caught up with my thoughts a while ago.

"Are you gonna take it or not?"

"Yeah, thanks." I said and put those on my table.

"Eunwoo was looking for you. He didn't know that you are not allowed to take afternoon classes."

"What did you say?" I asked.

"That you can't come? What else?"

She walked to her table and I just watch her.

"Y/N, can I ask you a favor?" Tzuyu asked which made me snap back.

"What is it?"

"I want to borrow some books from the library. Do you think you can come with me?"

"Books? About what?" I asked.

"History, I just want to have advance reading." She said.

"Okay, anytime you want." I said.

"Cool." She uttered and turned back to her table.

"Uhm, Tzuyu..." I called as she just hummed.

"Ah, nothing." I said as I can't find any right words to ask her. I can't even think where should I start.

"Aren't you going to your mom today?" She asked.

I looked at the clock to see the time and decided to do it.

"You're right, I'll just go." I said.

"Okay." She said and get back on whatever she's doing. As I went out, I sighed in frustration.

This is really bad. I shouldn't be acting like this. Tzuyu lied, yes. But what exactly what I want to tell? That's she's the werewolf? But that letter.

"You're really gonna believe a letter from random person?" I asked go myself.

I shook my head and just forget what I am thinking. I walked to my mom's office just like the usual thing I do. Also to ask if there's an update already about the werewolf.

"Y/N, do you need anything?" Mom asked as I got in her office.

"Nothing much, I just want to check if there's already an update... About the werewolf?"

Mom sighed as she told me to sit across her table.

"I see that you're really up on it. But just let us do our job."

"But."

"Why? Is there something bothering you?" Mom asked which made me look down.

"N-no, not really... I'm just concerned for the other students."

"You don't need to worry, as long as we are here, we're safe."

"Right... Of course." I just said.
