28. New Rules

Tzuyu's PoV

Two days had passed, but seems everything is not yet back on it's order. It's already morning and first day of the week. I just finished preparing and just waiting for Y/N to get finish too.

"Tzuyu, didn't you receive any call from your parents? They didn't visit you yesterday or the other day." Y/N asked as she came out from the bathroom.

"They're busy."

"Oh, maybe they'll call you later." She said.

After some minutes, Y/N is done. We left the dorm and head to the school to be stopped by a guidance officers.

"Good morning sir, is there a problem?" Y/N asked.

"All students are required to go to the social hall. Ms. Hong is also waiting for you."

I looked at Y/N as if I'm asking her what will happen. We just walked to the social hall and surprisingly, it's not just the same amout of students who went to the last meeting.

"I'll just go in front. Go find Momo, I'll see you in class." Y/N said.

I just nodded and walked to search on Momo.

"Good morning, students. As you all noticed, the numbers of students are back again."

I saw Momo sitting with Dahyun and Chaeyoung so I walked to them and sat beside them.

"Where's Y/N?"

"She's in front." I said to Momo.

We looked at the stage again and saw Ms. Hong, but not just her. There are other guidance officers plus the teachers and other members of student council.

"Last Friday we found out that some students were violating the rules. That's why we had to do a big meeting including the sponsors who's behind this school. The students who got caught and put in the disciplinary hall will be allowed to go to school again. They can go back to their dorms too."

"But for their consequences, they have to complete a community service around this school. Which means, they are required to help our facilitators around the school and that is every Saturday. This will last until the annual showdown."

"The reason why I called all of the students, it is because we are having a massive change. Starting today, new subjects will be added. New facilities will be open for the use of school. And if you are wondering, these subjects are assigned to specialized your abilities."

"That's right, we are not just going to study the academic subjects that usual students attend for. The other facilities that you see around this school that is off limits were now open and can be use during subject time."

"But for the students who were part of the concerned activity last week, you are all banned for using and attending new classes and facilities until the annual showdown. This is to give the consequences of your reckless behavior."

"Your teachers will advise you for the new changes. Student councils will be more attentive on doing their part and so on the guidance officers. Please go back to your rooms."

After that long announcement, we all head back to our rooms. And base on what I am hearing, lots of students were happy about the new change. I guess they are also thinking that this school is slowly having their sense.

"Woah, that means this school year is going to be more exciting! I can't wait for the rest of the days!" Chaeyoung said.

"But to think, we should thank those students who broke the rule. Because if not coz of them, the changes won't happen!" Dahyun said which made Momo to beat her.

"You're really stupid. How sure are you that they decided to do a change because of those students? I'm sure they prepared this since before." Momo said.

Not so long we arrived in our classroom. I sat on my chair as we wait for our teacher.

"I'm excited to check the new facilities too." I heard Chaeyoung said.

Where is she? I asked to myself as Y/N is not yet here. She said that she'll see us back here.

I looked around to find Mina but she's not around too. Maybe the student council needs to stay for some words.

Your PoV

We are now in the principal office. The guidance officers and also the students council.

"Now that this school will be semi-open hand for using powers, I am counting on you on this school. We need to handle the students for them not to abuse their powers. There are only times that students can use their powers. And I hope when that times happen, you are all alert " mom said.

"We understand Ms. Hong, this is actually a good change provided by the sponsors."

"They knew what happened last week. And this is the only way the know that will work. Letting students to use their powers so they'll be familiar of it." Mom said.

"That's all for today, I'll call you up when there's new informations. Please do your responsibilities." Mom said and dismissed us.

But I stayed.

As everyone left, I stayed to talk to mom.

"What is it, Y/N?"

"I'm just... Surprised with the changes. You didn't tell me about it when we met last night."

"It has to be confidential until I announce it."

"May I know why the sponsors decided to change the rules?" I asked.

"Because they think that there's no reason for this school to stop the students from being what they are. This school is supposed to be the one who improves the students by teaching them to control and own it."

"To be honest, I am much more happy about this. I know how the students are struggling with how they have to be here like they were prisoners, when they could live outside with the same treatment. Of people stopping them from using their powers."

"Sometimes we have to accept the flaw for us to see what's needed to be changed. And it's happening now Y/N. And I am glad about it." Mom said.

She's totally right. The past days, I don't like what I've been hearing. The fact that even mom's reputation is being dragged when she's just doing her job and that is to make students follow the rules.

Maybe this school is not as perfect as I see. It's boring and lifeless like a prison. I was too content because I have my mom and I have my friends. That is enough for me that even in this boring place, I still love to live.
