Your PoV

Mom breathes deeply, as if readying herself for a long narrative. I could see the worries in her eyes. It is something I've seen before but this feels more serious and complicated.

"Y/N, I am hoping that after this, you won't look at me differently. I've done this for you, for everyone. For the future."

"Mom, just tell it. I'll understand." I said and held her hands.

"Long years ago, when I was still a student here... I became a part of a big project. A project that has an objective to save the future peculiar people." Mom first said.

"It was a project that works in the future. Also sacrificing a lot in the past. Your father, he didn't die for nothing. He was part of the same project, and also a sacrifice."

"What?!"

"Not just him, many of us whose students were part of the project. A project that your generation and the future ones will benefit."

"I don't understand you mom? What do you mean? What project?"

"It was my first day here in this school when I had a vision. But that vision doesn't make sense to me. Everything is so confusing until it becomes so frequent. That vision is about today, Y/N."

"Me, including the group who's supporting us knows that this is gonna happen. Vampires will come back and will end the whole kind of us without leaving anyone but them."

"W-what?"

"In order to defeat that. And to avoid that to happen we made a very complicated plan which may show effect on this time. When I had those visions, they put me under observation. They put me under a test. And they found out that this may happen as I can predict the future."

"They come up with a project. And that project is Tzuyu."

My senses shut down as I heard what mom said. I don't know if I should be scared of what mom said or I should be scared of her. She sounds like she's out of herself but not. Maybe this is the first time I've seen mom so serious that I can't tell if she's telling the truth.

"T-tzuyu? What do you mean?"

"In my vision, it was Tzuyu who led everyone to finish the vampires. Right now, we may encounter one or two of their kind, but vampires can have their own battalion by turning us into their kind. That's how we made a project to have Tzuyu." Mom said.

I am still confused. Does she mean she knows Tzuyu since then? But why did she act like she hadn't met them once.

Mom showed me the thing she got in the cabinet, a picture that I once saw. A picture of her with her best friend.

"That's Tzuyu's mother. The last pure blooded werewolf."

My eyes darted from the picture to my mom. Did I hear it right? A werewolf?

"W-werewolf?"

"We told her what was about to happen. All about my vision. And eventually, we were able to make her agree to have an offspring. And that's Tzuyu."

"You did that?" I asked in disbelief.

"I had to..."

I tried to stop myself from gasping. But the emotion that I am feeling right now is so much a mess. I can't process myself to say a single word as I am fed up with all the information mom told me.

"And the people behind the letters that Jihyo and her friends received—"

"It also came from you?" I asked as I started to put the puzzle together.

Mom nodded as she pulled out the envelopes she probably still has in her cabinet.

"I know that they will find the underground place even if I won't send the letters. So I did it for them to have alibis. Because I also saw them in my vision. They are fighting together with you and Tzuyu."

"But why did you have to do that?"

"Because after the Christmas break, I know that all the students who were part of that case will be expelled. I've seen it all, Y/N. And I have to stick to the plan. I have to make sure all of you were complete when the time came."

"The government already knows what's happening inside this school, Y/N. And if they found out that there are more vampires, the possibility of them turning their backs to us is high. With that, administration of this school will change. And even the wife of the later founder can't have anything to do."

"G-granny knows this too? Did she know—"

"Yes. She knows about the project. And she's on our side. The only problem is the other members and the administration. Let's hope that they are still with us until the end."

I left mom's office after she finished talked to me. I told her that I have to talk on Tzuyu but I will comeback. Hopefully, she would like to talk to me too.

I am still not fully recovered of what I found out. All I know is everything is so shocking. All the visions, projects, vampires, and now... Tzuyu?

She's a werewolf? The question is did she know? Did she transform already?

But then I stopped on thinking as I realized something. There's a possibility she knows but she doesn't want to say it to anyone including me. The time I saw her eyes changed. And when we were in the forest, when she suddenly disappeared and a werewolf came and attack the bear who's in front of me.

She's trying to save me, maybe.

"She did know." I mumbled before I ran to the dorm to face her.

I went to our dorm and immediately looked for Tzuyu. But instead of seeing her in her usual spot, she's not there nor around the house.

"Tzuyu?" I called, expecting that she's in the bathroom but no one came out to see me.

The room felt so empty that I think it's very unusual. I looked around and noticed some of Tzuyu's things are missing. Then on my table, I saw a paper. I walked there to see it and realized it was a letter from Tzuyu.

'Don't ever find me. You're a good friend, Y/N. But you just don't understand my situation. It was nice being your friend. - Tzuyu.'
