59. Vamp?

I looked up as I heard the door of my mom's room went open. It is my mom who walked in, since she has her key for this room.

"Are you okay, sweetie?"

My mom immediately checked on me. I totally forgot about myself as I am thinking what Eunwoo and I just encountered.

"Let me just get my first aid kit." Mom said and walked to her cabinet and got it. As she came back, she was carrying a kit with her. She sat beside me and gently held my arm.

I winced as I felt a cramp. I don't know how bad I was thrown to the tables, but I'm pretty sure that this is nothing compared to what Eunwoo got.

"Mom, what happened?" I asked.

"They are trying to search around the school. I also told them to search the whole place. You don't need to worry because they have large number. Besides there no ordinary." Mom said.

"We checked the security cameras too. We can't seem to find how that man entered the library." Mom said.

"Is...what we saw... Is a vampire?" I asked which made mom stopped from treating my injury.

She looked at me worriedly and nodded.

"What? But I thought—"

"I thougt so too, Y/N. Because of this, we have to more alert. That vampire didn't come here for peace. The girl you saw in the library... It's probably not his first victim."

"What?"

"The students last time in the library were also victims of vampire. We can't tell but maybe he's the same person who did that to them."

"What?!"

"When I found out that the bodies of the students before got peeled on their skin and neck, I already concluded that it's probably a vampire. That vampire probably did that to conceal the bite. But this time you saw him."

"W-wait so you knew that time that vampires are still existing? If vampires are still here, it's not impossible that the thing I saw in the forest is a werewolf!"

"Y/N,sweetie, calm down. You don't need to worry. We have our people to protect us. And they are not ordinary people."

"M-mom I'm scared. W-what's gonna happen now? Is this school is still safe?" I asked as I started panicking but mom tried to calm me.

"Listen,Y/N. We are safe. I'm gonna make sure that, okay? This is the last time they will hurt you or anyone in this school." My mom last said before she pulled me in a hug.

I just let myself to cry as I don't really know what to feel. This day definitely not a good day for me.

"Let's treat yourself first, then we'll sleep okay?"

"Mom what if—"

"No, Y/N no. You're tired, let's continue this when you're already fine."

I just nodded and let mom cover up my injury. After that, I just let my body and mind rest for all the stress I encountered this day.

"Are you sure you can go to your class?"

"Yes mom, besides I just have to attend the morning class, so it's not a big deal." I said as I wear the sling bandage mom told me to use. As of now, my arm is still in pain. Even my back but still, I have to go to class.

I already had breakfast. Good thing mom had prepared one for me. After that, I bid goodbye and also told her I'll be there after class. Yup, I'm gonna stay one more day on my mom's. After that, I'll try to talk to Tzuyu, I hope two days is enough for her to cool down.

As I left mom's office, I walked to our room and saw Eunwoo who also walking to the classroom.

"Look at us, we're injured." He said and laughed.

"I know. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, but I haven't got enough sleep."

"You're thinking about last night, right?"

"Yeah." He sighed sadly.

"Don't worry, we're safe. I'm sure they are gonna be more alert now." I said.

Not so long we arrived at the classroom. It's still half empty but Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Momo are already in the room.

"Y/N! Gosh what happened to you?!"

"Long story."

"So it's true? What we heard at the campus? Someone attacked you guys?"

I looked at Eunwoo as he nodded to them as an answer.

"Who did it?" Chaeyoung asked.

Before I could answer, our teacher came. Behind him is Tzuyu, who's just in time.

I walked to my seat while I look at her who's walking to her seat, which is in front of me.

"Hi." I said as she looked at me but I didn't hear any reply.

I just smiled and sighed in my thoughts as our class started.

"Before we have a lesson, I just want you to know what happened to two of your classmates last night. The principal gave us permission to give information about the happenings last night so you'll be aware." Our teacher said as he looked at me and Eunwoo first.

"Last night, Y/N and Eunwoo witnessed a killing. A mysterious man unalive a student of this school in the library. The method he used is the same as the late students who was found last time in the same place. The victims have same signs of deaths. They got bitten in their neck, blood sucked out."

As our teacher said that, it seemed like everyone get immediately what kind of monster we are dwelling on.

"That man doesn't work or live here. But there might be a way he found to get in here. And yes, He is a vampire. The school is already on alert to search to this person, so everyone is advice to go back to their dorms after the morning class. We won't be having afternoon class for the mean time, until it's safe for everyone. But you don't have to worry. This is gonna be the last time that this will happen. Just listen to us. And if you encounter this creature, you are allowed to use your power. Let's all help each other."
