25. Power and Consequences (1)

Your PoV

"Where are they? I want to talk to them. Even just Jihyo." I said after mom said thise things.

She asked me to follow her. We walked to her secret room that connects her office to the disciplinary hall.

As we arrived there, I immediately saw Jihyo by the two way mirror. Mom told me to stay while she walked inside and called Jihyo.

Not so long, they walked out, Jihyo saw me and her expression changed immediately.

"This is all your fault! I told you we were set up!"

"Jihyo calm down, Y/N wants to talk to you." Mom said.

"I know that you just got set up. I believe you. I know that you won't lie about being there. Even your friends."

"Then why you stopped us?!"

"I..."

"You're mad on us, just say it!"

"I'm not! I just got panicked! Everyone there was on the loose and they need my help as the president!"

"There's no way on arguing. I know you two still know each other." Mom said.

"Mom, I don't really think Jihyo and her friends are part of that activity. Let's just investigate it whoever brought them into trouble."

Mom nodded as she also called Nayeon,Jeongyeon,Sana, and Mina.

As they came out, Mina approached me.

"Thank you president for trusting us."

"Mom, thank you for letting them out."

"I will still investigate the letters. You all can go back to your dorm. And next time, don't be too naive." Mom said.

She's right, maybe if they have something wrong, that is they believed and followed that letter.

After I talked to mom, she allowed me to go since they'll be talking to the teachers and officers.

We walked out of mom's office as we all planning to leave the school and go back to the dorm.

"Jihyo." I called.

She stopped and looked at me with the same look.

"I'm really sorry. It's my fault that I didn't let you explain."

"Just be thankful that I didn't fight back." She said and left.

As I watch them leave, I heard my phone rings. I checked and saw a text message from Momo, saying that they are in the school cafeteria.

I walked back inside and gead to the cafeteria. I immediately saw them since Dahyun waved her hand for me to spot them easily.

"What happened? Where did you go?" Tzuyu asked.

"I went to the disciplinary hall. It turned out that Jihyo and her friends just got set up. Now Jihyo is so mad at me for stopping them last night." I said.

"What's wrong? As if it's your fault that you have to stop them." Tzuyu said which made me looked at her.

I was surprised but, agree!

"Exactly! You really on my side huh." I said.

"Wait, set up? Who would set them up?" Chaeyoung asked.

"I don't know. But I'm pretty sure Jeongyeon won't do that. She's my roommate, I pretty know her." Momo said.

"So what will happen?"

"They are still thinking about it. I guess you can't talk to Mom for the mean time." I said and looked at Tzuyu.

"It's okay... I already changed my mind." She said which made me smiled.

"Really?!"

"Change what?"

"It's nothing. What are we going to do?" Tzuyu asked.

"Let's stay in the dorm? And maybe wonder what's good to do." Chaeyoung said.

"Well that's the only thing we can do. Go back to the dorm and hope that everything will be good already." I said.

We all left the school and head back to the dorm. While on our way, Tzuyu pulled me closer to her and whispered something.

"Are we going back to our room? I have many questions."

"Right now?"

"Yeah."

I just nodded and told Momo, Chaeyoung, and Dahyun to meet me later at the cafeteria since we have to do something.

"I thought we are going back to dorm and gonna stay together." Momo said.

"We'll talk later. For now go and talk to Jeongyeon, I'm sure she has a lot of things to tell." I said.

"Fine, see you later.

Tzuyu and I entered our room and sat on our beds.

"What do you want to ask?" I asked.

"Everything, about you, about the school, about everyone who's in here."

"Are you really serious that you didn't know this is a school for unordinaries? That's kinda odd. This school is connected to the government. Under it, they have special people who seach around this country to find unordinary people like us. People in our age were encourage to be students. Those who are olders became teachers and guidance officers."

"You mean even the officers and our teacher were not normal?"

"Yes."

"I still don't know why dad didn't tell me about this school."

"Mom said that your dad might not know. Your dad mentioned to my mom that it was your grandma who offered this school for you." I said.

"Grandma? I never meant my grandmother both sides."

"It was on your dad's side. Your grandfather used to be a part of the founder team. Are you sure you didn't know that?" I asked.

She shook her head as if she don't really have any idea about that.

"How did you know all of these?" She asked.

"I told you, I grew up here. Mom used to be a teacher before she became the principal. I saw everyone who enters here. The last person is you."

"W-what is your power again?" She asked.

"Uh, telekinesis... What you saw last night is the example of things I can do."

"Woah."

I sighed and looked at Tzuyu. I don't know if I should feel bad for her or laughed at her. The fact that she tried to hide her powers as she thought she'll freak me out but it turns out the other way around.

"How about you?" I asked.

She looked at me with questionable face. As if she doesn't know what to say.

"Uhh."

"Don't tell me you haven't figured out? Are you also like the other students who have the same case of not knowing their powers?" I asked coz some student are like that.

I witnessed everyone who entered here. Some of them are not sure about their powers. They just entered because they were found by the government allies. But as time passed by, they found their strength.

"I have superhuman senses." She said which made me frowned.

"Like?"

"I have a very strong hearing. I'm not yet sure what else I can do."

I gasped as I looked at her surprised.

"Is that how you heard that Jihyo was sneaking on the hallway?! This room is soundproof!"

"Yeah."

"Daebak." I said in amazement.

"Well not as cool as yours, what else you can control with your mind?"

"Anything."

"See?"
