77. Say It, Again

Your PoV

I gasped for breath as I clenched my fist on my chest. I don't know how fast I ran off the clinic after what I saw.

"What the hell?"

"Y/N."

I startled as someone called me, it turned out it was mom who went out of her room.

"Mom."

Yes, I am in my mom's office. This is the nearest place I could go.

I can't believe she's flirting with that nurse again. She really didn't learn her lesson.

Instead of embarrassment after I witnessed that scene, I felt more annoyed. Picturing that scene is really boiling me up.

"Are you okay?" Mom asked as she walked to me and checked my temperature.

"Yeah, I am fine...mom. How's your day?" I asked.

"I just got a break. Tomorrow the day will be busy, so we have to prepared." Mom said and walked to her chair.

"Ahhh... Uhm, so, if that's the case, can I sleep here?" I asked which made mom looked at me.

"Why? Is there a problem with your room?"

"No, everything is fine there. I just... Want to sleep with you again, mom." I excused.

"Okay. But I'll comeback late. You don't have to wait for me, I know tomorrow is a big day for you to show your improvements. And I can't wait for you to do it." Mom said.

I just smiled and nodded while mom started to called someone.

"Did you have lunch already? Let's have lunch together." Mom said.

"Okay. I'll just use your bathroom, mom." I said.

I left mom and entered to her room to go to her bathroom. While I am in the bathroom, I tried to keep myself together.

"I can't understand. If she's planning to confess her feelings to me, why she's flirting with that nurse?" I scoffed as I watched my own reflection on my mom's bathroom.

"If I didn't come, they were probably kissing by now."

I hissed on my own thoughts as it's just keeping me annoyed. But I can't stop myself thinking about it.

"You're so stupid. Do you really have to see first on your vision that she's  confessing before you realized that you like her? You literally treat her extra special. The hell is wrong with you." I said while talking to my reflection.

"Tss... Or maybe she's not really confessing. Maybe I just imagined it."

I rested my back on the counter while thinking. I sighed and went out of the bathroom again. I walked back to mom and saw the food is already there.

"The food is ready, let's eat?"

"Yup."

It's already night and I am just staying here on my mom's room. Just like what mom said, she's out for a meeting. I don't really know what I should do here. I feel like I just want to sleep but I don't feel sleepy at all.

Suddenly, I felt hungry. My stomach is growling when I decided to go out of the room and go to my mom's office.

Good thing that I am here, I can just order up for dinner. I went to mom's office and dialled the number service on the cafeteria but for some reason, the telephone isn't working.

"Are you serious right now?"

I put down the telephone and just sat on my mom's chair. I thought I can handle the hunger but I can't.
