85. Sweet Night

Tzuyu's PoV

It's been thirty minutes since Y/N and Jihyo left. And for some reason, I really can't take any peace knowing I'm sitting right here and I don't know what's happening outside.

I stood up as I planned to check them when Chaeyoung asked me where I'll be going. I just told her that I forgot something in our room and we'll be right back as I get it.

I was just about to open the door when the door opened by itself... Or at least someone opened it.

The door went open and Y/N who was smiling was about to enter not until she saw me.

"Tzuyu. Where are you going?" She asked.

I looked at Jihyo and she's just looking at me as if she's curious too.

"Oh, I was about to go back to the room. I remembered that I don't need to go back." I said.

"Is that so, then let's go back and join them. Are you already tired? If you want to go back to our room, you can. Take some rest."

"No it's okay. I'll stay." I said and glanced at Jihyo.

As we walked back, we three joined the circle again. Of course they noticed that Y/N and Jihyo came together which is unusual for them.

And the fact that Jihyo sat on Y/N's side while I also sat on the other side.

"Let's play! Lose will have to take a shot!" Nayeon said.

The game started and I just rode on the moment. I was casually checking on Y/N too and I'm just glad she's enjoying it.

Meanwhile, I noticed Jihyo smiling at Y/N which is very unusual as I know how mean Jihyo is to Y/N.

"Okay, tell me what is Jihyo's birth month!" Jeongyeon asked which made everyone to race for the bottle as the one who got it will answer.

"It's March—"

"Wrong!" Jihyo said when Sana tried to answer it.

"Gosh, Sana! I was the march baby! Why do you always forget that?" Mina said.

"I guess my memory is getting old." Sana said and put the bottle back.

"Again, same question. In one, two, three!"

Suddenly Y/N got the bottle which means she got to answer.

"February." Y/N said which made everyone clap.

"Oh, I didn't think you still remember." Jihyo said.

"I just don't forget." Y/N said which made Jihyo laugh.

It's not just me who's surprised but also the others. They are puzzled when they hear Jihyo laughed on Y/N.

"Uhm, are you guys all good now?" Jeongyeon asked.

We all looked at Jihyo and Y/N as we wait for them to answer.

"Yeah." Jihyo said which made them cheer.

"Oh Jihyo, don't be mean on Y/N again. This is your last chance." Momo said.

"Yah, who are you to decide if it's her last chance?"- Dahyun.

"I'm also Y/N's friend!" Momo ranted back.

"Guys enough. We don't want you to be the next "Y/N vs. Jihyo" okay? Let's just be happy that Jihyo and Y/N are okay now. That means, we can hang out together!" Nayeon exclaimed.

We continued the game until probably at the very late night. We decided to end it as everyone is tired already. When I looked at Y/N, I know she's already sleepy but she's still helping Momo on cleaning the room before we go.

"Let me help you." I said as I carried the trash to the trashbin.

"Thank you."

After that, we bid goodnight to the others. We went to our rooms and decided to continue the day later.

As we got in our room, Y/N slammed immediately on her bed as she released a heavy sigh.

"So, you and Jihyo are already fine." I said and sat on my bed.

She looked at me, still laying on her tummy and nodded.

"She said sorry for everything she have done. I didn't ask her anymore why she did that. But she said she really sorry and she realized she's wrong." Y/N said.

To be honest I am more surprised that she told me that. Maybe she trusts me so much. So who am I to not trust her?

"I'm glad you two were okay now." I said which made her smile.

"Really?"

"Yeah, she's your first friend. Even if what happened to the both of you isn't as good as what friends should be, she's still your friend." I said which made Y/N sat up.

"Thank you."

"That's nothing. You know I'm teaching myself to understand you. Because I love you and that's includes of trusting you... Even if I bet she has a crush on you." I said which made Y/N frowned.

I mean, the rumors can be true. And when I confronted Jihyo. I can see that she really care for Y/N.

"What?" Y/N asked as she chuckled.

I sighed and shrugged my shoulder as I look away.

"I mean, who wouldn't have a crush on you. She's your best friend before me. I fell for you, it's not impossible if she also likes you." I said as I can't hide the jealousy that I am feeling.

I may say, I'm insecure too. But I just know that I have to trust Y/N and myself. This is just the beginning of our relationship and we haven't been able to tell it to our families. I don't have plans to break it.

Y/N chuckled as she went off her bed just to go to me and sat beside me. She  put her hands on my cheeks, tilted it to make me look at her straight.

"I appreciate your honesty. And I want you to know that Jihyo and I are just friends. I'm in love with you, right?"

"You love me?"

"Momo already knew your my girlfriend. Next time, we'll tell the truth to my mom and your grandma. And then, we can care less about who would find out about us. Because I love you."

My heart just swells in euphoria as I heard those words from her. I can't contain my happiness and can't even say a word after.

"I love you too." I said as I held her hands that is on my face.

She smiled at me and bring my head close to her lips to kiss me on the forehead. It was a quick but a sweet gesture that I could keep in my memory.

"Shall we go to sleep? I'm pretty tired and I know you too." She said as she's about to get off my bed when I stopped her.

"Let's sleep here."

"Huh?"

"Here... Let's sleep together. Is that fine?" I asked.

She took a minute before she had an answer. She went off my bed and go to her bed but to get her pillow and put it beside me.

I moved a little so she can get on the bed also. As I am on my side already, Y/N lay on my bed but on sideways and looking at me.

"You look more beautiful on my bed." I said which made her giggle.

"Stop flattering me. Let's go to sleep."

"I'm just telling the truth."

"Okay I'm gonna sleep." She said and closed her eyes.

"Now I wonder what waking up beside you feels like." I said which made her smile ear to ear.

"Tzuyu, stop it."

"Okay, I will... Goodnight."

"Goodnight too, sweet dreams."

"You too." I said and kisses her forehead before closing my eyes.
