27. Pride

Tzuyu's PoV

After we finished eating, Y/N said that she has to go back to our room. Since I don't want to stay in the cafeteria either, I decided to follow her.

"Woah!" I uttered in surprise as she shut the door real hard.

She didn't say a word and just slammed herself on her bed.

"What's your problem?"

"Nothing, go away, I want to be alone for some minutes." She said her face is being buried on her pillow.

I can't tell if she's crying or what but she sounds so pissed off.

"Where do you want me to go then?" I asked which made her look at me.

"I don't know, go somewhere else but here."

"That's odd, last time you didn't want me to leave this school. And now you are shooing me." I said which made her instantly sit up.

"That's not how I meant! It's just... I want some time alone." She seemed unsure of what she said.

I sat on my bed and just looked at her confusedly.

"Stop looking at me like that. It's very annoying."

"I didn't know that a person who annoys a lot can be annoyed too." I said which made her furrow her brows more.

"If you're here just to say offensive words then I'll be more annoyed."

This time, it's like I'm with a kid who I don't even understand.

"Offensive? Y/N, I may look like someone who says offensive words but I don't. I know how to use some words." I said.

"Don't tell me you got offended of what Momo said?" I asked as I remembered what our topic a while ago.

I also noticed that after that, Y/N became silent.

"They are talking about the school and not your mom. That's two different thing." I said as if I know where this is going.

"Besides, they are kinda right... Do you really enjoy staying here? Going to school, and back to your room which is here." I said.

"Of course! Even the other students are having fun—"

"Oh really? I've only been here for a week but I almost left this school."

"It's because it's you, you don't want everything."

"Not what I am hearing. Most of the students... Well, no offense, but I think one of the reasons why that underground passage was built because they are sick to the everyday routine." I said.

She didn't reply anymore and I guess she's having a deep thought. She laid again and buried her face on her pillow.

"Fine, if you don't want to talk about it, it's okay." I just said and walked to my table to read some books.

It's almost 6 in the evening when I finished the book that I was reading. I just got back in reality as I felt a backpain since I've been sitting for hours.

I looked back and saw Y/N still on the last position that I saw her. She probably sleeping since I can hear her light breathing.

I felt hungry but I don't want to wake up her just to go with me down to the cafeteria.

I stepped out of my table and decided to leave the room to go to the cafeteria. On my way, I walked through someone I haven't talked with ever since.

"You're Tzuyu, right? Y/N's roommate. We are also in the same class. I'm Sana."
