74. Face Off

Tzuyu's PoV

Today is another day to just stay in the dorm since we don't have classes anymore. Tomorrow will be the annual showdown, and after that, the Christmas break is already on the go.

I woke up early since I slept early last night too. We didn't do much yesterday.

I just finished up taking my morning routine when I went out of  the bathroom. I first saw Y/N as she's still on her bed sleeping.

Just in time that her thing rings. I walked to her table and turned it off.

"Y/N, Y/N wake up." I said as I wait for her to open her eyes.

After some calls, she finally opened her eyes and sat up on her bed. She looked at me confusedly before she speak to greet me a good morning.

"Did I forget to set my alarm?" She asked.

"No, I turned it off. Why did you set your alarm anyway?" I asked.

"I just want to wake up early." She said before leaving her bed to go to the bathroom.

I sat at Y/N's desk as I wait for her since we'll be going to the cafeteria together and have breakfast. I was just casually sitting there when an announcement was heard around the place.

"What's that?" Y/N asked from the bathroom.

"They want us to go to the social hall. I guess there's a very important announcement." I said.

Y/N didn't reply anymore so I just waited right there. Not so long she went out of the bathroom and looked at me.

"Why?" I asked.

"Nothing, I just thought of something." She said and walked to me since I am at her desk. Technically, she's standing in front of me why I am sitting on her chair.

"What must be the announcement about?" She asked.

I'm just looking up on her as she's combing her hair and looking somewhere but not me. It's just weird that we are in this position where I am close to pulling her down and making her sit on my lap.

What the hell am I even thinking?

"I'm done, let's go." Y/N said as she looked down on me which snapped me up.

"Yeah, let's go." I said and stand up.

But then I stood fast that Y/N haven't even move back first, making us standing in front of each other with an inch apart.

"Let's go!" She casually said as she's looking up on me because of my height. She clung her arm on me without even reacting. While here I am feeling like a heater that is about to explode.

As we walked out the dorm, we head to the school and went to the social hall where some students starting to arrive.

We made to the seat in front and sat there since the announcement haven't started yet.

"I think it's about the annual showdown tomorrow." Y/N said.

Not so long the hall was filled with the students. Momo, Dahyun, and Chaeyoung sat with us. It was ten minutes later when the principal came up on the stage to start the announcement.

"Good morning my lovely students. We were called here to today to hear the announcement that I'll be giving. This will be the schedule until the comeback of school after Christmas break. And because we all know that you are all excited, we want you to have an organized vacation by telling you the dates of the school year until the next month."

"As what you know, tomorrow is the annual showdown. But unlike before, we use to open up the hall for you to practice, today, we'll be opening the underground place so you can practice as early as today."
