Third Person

Y/N left after she said her words while the others who are still in the room.

"So, we'll go now. See you around." Dahyun said leaving with Chaeyoung.

The room was filled with silence as the three left the place. Everyone was eyeing that one person as if they were waiting for her to talk.

"What? Don't look at me like that." Jihyo hissed as she get up on her place.

"Can we once forget that you two are not good. This won't help our plans." Mina said to the girl.

"I already told you, this won't work." Jihyo mumbled as she looked at Mina apologeticly.

"Well maybe if you'll chill out and stop being hard on Y/N, it will." Momo butted in.

"Mina is right. If we really want this to work, then we should trust each other. And... Less fight." Jeongyeon said looking at Jihyo.

"Tsk, fine." Jihyo said.

"I'm really counting on that. Besides, we just agreed because Y/N is in too. If not, we'll back out." Momo said.

"That's scary, but sure." Sana said.

After that long talk, they didn't notice that it's already dinner time. As they all head to cafeteria for their own time, Y/N is not around.

"Where's Y/N?" Momo asked.

"She said she have to go to her mom's office. Ms. Hong called her." Tzuyu said as she watch Chaeyoung and Dahyun enjoying their food.

"I'm still allowed to sit with y'all even if I'm not part of the 'team' right?" Tzuyu asked.

"Of course." Momo replied.

Meanwhile, Y/N just arrived on her mother's office. She knocked and walked in after getting a signal to come inside.

"Hello mom, you called me." Y/N said as she walked to her mother who's in her table.

"Yes, I want a time with my kid. It's Saturday." Her mom reminded which made Y/N smiled.

They walked to her table where dinner is already served.

As they started to eat, Y/N is thinking how she could start gathering information. She can't just brought it up out of nowhere, she knows her mother would be suspicious on her.

"How was you day?" Her mom asked.

And just by that, Y/N saw an opportunity. She just... Need to lie for a bit.

"It was good, I guess. After all what happened today... Jeongyeon invited us to their room and we had some time together."

"With Jihyo?"

Y/N looked at her mother and nodded. For some reason, her mother smiled as if she was happy to hear that Y/N is being with Jihyo again.

"Mom? What's with the face?" Y/N chuckled.

"Nothing, I'm just happy that you're talking to your first ever friend. I hope you'll be friends again, my dear."

Y/N sighed in her head. She can't deny that she also wanted them to be friends again. After all, she still care for the latter. But Jihyo acting like Y/N did her so wrong is too much for Y/N to handle.

"Y/N, maybe you just need to convince her more."

Y/N just shook her head as she continued minding her food. But on the other side, she's thinking about it too.

To say, she's not the kind of person who can resist a friend when they are in a fight. She'll definitely do her thing to make up even if it was the other one's fault. But with Jihyo, it's different. Maybe she had enough with Jihyo acting rude to her.

"How's Tzuyu?" Her mom asked which made Y/N looked at her mom as she didn't expect it.

"She's fine... I guess." Y/N sighed.

"You're not sure? Aren't you close with her now? Is she still up with her walls on you?" Her mom asked.

"It's not that mom. She's just... She's trying to get better. After what she found out last week." Y/N said.

"Found out?"

Y/N sighed as she looked at her mom who's curious by now. She knows thay she shouldn't be sharing one's problem to anyone especially if that person trusted her so much with that problem.

"Mom, do you know anything about the Chous?" Y/N asked.

"What do you mean? They are part of the group who founded this school. I know much about them. Except from Tzuyu's father. Like what I told you, I didn't know that she has a child not until Mrs. Chou, Tzuyu's grandmother who's also the wife of late founder Mr. Chou recommended this school to Mr. Chou, Tzuyu's father." Her mother explained.

"Why?" She added.

"Tzuyu found out that her mother is not Mrs. Chou, the one who came here with her father. That's why she's devasted as she thought the family who raised her was her real mother." Y/N said.

"That's explains." Her mom said which made Y/N looked at her mother.

"What do you mean?"

"Mr. Chou is an ordinary person. I know because none between the founder and his wife were like us. When I met Mrs. Chou, I knew that she's just like Mr. Chou, she's a normal person." Her mother revealed.

"Y-you mean you know since day one?"

"It's just a hunch. Besides, I can't question them."

"Wait, if the late founder and his wife are not like us, then how they come up with this school?" Y/N asked.

"Many years ago, the government made a secret project. As they know there's still people like us. They wanted to protect us. Also to protect themselves from us. After some proposal and after being able to have enough budget for this school, they started this project. After all, the world is not that cruel to us."

Y/N remained silent as her mother said that. She doesn't know whether to agree or not in her mother's statement as she's not that open with everything's happening outside. Maybe that's one of her problem, she never thought the need of knowing the outside world since all she needs is inside the school, her mom, her friends.
