19. Her Fate

Tzuyu's PoV

"We'll leave you first, Mr. Chou." Ms. Hong said as she left with Y/N.

As it's just me and my dad, He didn't speak. Even me. It took minutes before I could talk.

"Where's mom?"

"She can't come. You know that she's busy working. But she also knows what happened."

She knows what happened to me yet she didn't dare to visit me? What kind of mother will let her daughter like this?

"I don't want to be here anymore." I said.

I looked at my father, straight in his eyes.

"You can lock me back in the house. I don't need to study here anymore. I'll just study by myself... J-just put me out of here." I stuttered.

"I can't."

"Dad, please. I don't want to stay here. I can't do what I just did." I said, sounding frustrated.

"You'll stay here until you graduate. If you can't, then just end yourself!"

My heart shattered as I heard what just my father said. Right in my face. Not even blinking.

"W-what?"

"You have to stay here, Tzuyu. We can't let you out or else you'll hurt more people." Dad said.

I rolled my eyes as I felt that tears were wanting to fall.

"This is exactly why we brought you here. Because we are protecting ourselves from you. As long as you're here, you won't hurt us." He said which made me explode.

"I just killed an animal dad! I killed it just to satisfy what's inside me! I became something worse than an animal! I don't want that to happen again. I am afraid that I'll kill more animals or worse humans!" I exclaimed.

"But I see you don't care. You didn't even ask me first what happened. You just assumed that I hurt people." I scoffed.

"Why do you have to do this to me? You raised me... Instead of killing me when you got a chance. And now you're treating me as if I don't deserve to live. Where did I go wrong, huh?"

"Just say it, you never loved me. You and mom both think that I am a monster. That time will come and I am the cause of your deaths. But you can't kill me because you need me." I said which made him go back to his senses.

"I heard it, dad. I heard it long before. I heard it all. All the backslashes that you and mom have been throwing to me. You just can't get rid of me because you need me as your money."

"Shut up!"

"What? That's the truth, right? How much? How much do you get from me? There are other people who know about me, right?"

"I said shut up! You'll finish your work here! And if you don't want this to happen again, then stop yourself from being a monster!" He said and left.

Mixed emotions I am feeling after he left just like that. I don't know where to put myself. But I am feeling more angry for what they did to me.

I knew since then that I am just a money to them. A material they use to satisfy their needs. I've been asking how, and who are the real reasons why I have to live like this.

But after all, it's my fault. I should have accepted my fate since the beginning I saw everything crystal clear.

I just want to cry after all of these. Maybe this is really how I meant to live. I've been holding back my monster but little I didn't know, my parents are also holding me.
