60. New Problem (1)

The class has ended but unlike the other days this day is different. I can't even focus on the lesson because I know everyone is worried about that vampire. I get my bag while the others are also getting ready leave.

As they left the room, they are talking about the vampire like crazy as if they were forbidden to talk about it and now they were allowed to.

"Y/N, are you going to the cafeteria?"

"Ah, yeah... I'll be having lunch before I went to my mom." I said as Eunwoo asked me.

I walked with Momo while Dahyun and Chaeyoung also followed. While we are walking, I can here the other classes talking about the vampire. I guess the whole school knows now.

I looked back and saw Tzuyu walking with Chaeyoung and Dahyun too. Since we left the classroom, she didn't even talk to me. Maybe she's going to do what she said to me.

As we arrived at the cafeteria and got our food, we settled for a vacant table and eat there.

"Why were you with Eunwoo last night anway?" Momo asked.

I told them what happened. And of course they decided to ask further than that, like why Eunwoo was in the library too.

"I told you, he walked me to the school. Then we heard noise coming from the library. And then that's it."

"Welp, I actually want to tease you coz finally you got a partner for the soiree. But it seems like it's not the best moment for that." Chae said.

Suddenly, Jihyo's group walked to us. There's still a vacant chairs beside us since we had the long table.

"How are you Y/N?" Nayeon asked.

"I'm fine, thanks for asking."

"Gosh, this is insane. So vampires are still existing? That's crazy." Sana said.

"The school is doing their way to protect us. We don't need to worry." I said.

"Now I could say that our situation isn't connected to what's happening to the school. It's just impossible." Jihyo said.

"Everyone is talking about the vampire." Mina mumbled.

"I guess the teachers didn't want to hide it anymore." Jeongyeon said.

"But really, why is this happening to this school? I mean, if Vampires are still existing, then why they didn't do this before? Just now?" Nayeon said.

"We don't know. We don't even know why they are doing this."

"One thing. Maybe because they want us dead." Jihyo said which made us all looked at her.

"Look, this school is connected to the government. They gave us school because they still consider us as their allies. Without us, no one will protect normal people. Maybe they want to get back on track, I'm talking about the vampires."

"That's so scary but you have a point. If that's the case then it's not just one vampire. But why don't they attack in group? Why it has to be like this?"-Dahyun.

"We should be thankful that that is the case. We don't know much about them. We don't know what kind of creature we are facing." I said.

I looked at Tzuyu but she seems not interested in what we are talking about..or maybe she just doesn't want to include herself just like to the plan.

"Anyway, I saw the wife of ther late founder, Mr. Chou, Tzuyu's grandma. Did she visit you, Tzuyu?" Jihyo said which made me look at Tzuyu.

She's probably referring to the last time granny went here. Which is yesterday.

"It's none of your business." Tzuyu replied as she continued to eat.

"Hey I'm asking you nicely."

"Jihyo, Tzuyu, stop this." Nayeon said.

"What's wrong? I'm just asking her? You don't need to be rude." Jihyo said.

"Jihyo please." I just sighed.

"Okay, fine, didn't know I can't ask questions, geez." Jihyo said.

I could feel the tension with the two so I left the table and go with Jihyo with me.

As we are far from them already, I looked at Jihyo who's surprisingly didn't argue back.

"Why do you need to bring me here? I already said, I'll stop." She said.

"I know... But I don't trust you." I said which made her gasped.

"Who do you trust then? Her? Your roommate? Are still even in good terms? The last time I checked you slept with your mom because you had arguement with Tzuyu." She said as she's smirking.

"See? That's why I don't trust you enough. We have a deal Jihyo."

"Tss, that deal is over. You're taking too long to do your work."

"Excuse me?"

"I don't think we should continue with that deal anymore. I'll talk to the others. I think dealing with the person who sent the letter to us is a waste of time."

I frowned as she said that. I don't know but it sounds like she's making a decision without even thinking about it.

"But it doesn't mean you can treat us like this. Jihyo all I want is us to graduate. Can't you just be nice until that day?" I said.

She scoffed as she walked to me closer.

"Soon you'll realize that I am right. You're even gonna thank me for doing this." She just said and left.

I went back to the table and saw Tzuyu is not there anymore. I asked the girls but they said she probably went back to the dorm.

"Where's Jihyo?"

"She left too. I guess you should talk to her. She has an important thing to say to you guys." I said to Nayeon and the others.

After that, I went to my mom's office since I don't have plans anymore. As I walked in, mom immediately saw me and went out of her chair and walked to me.

"Glad you're here, how's your day?" Mom asked as if she was waiting for me. She straight hugged me as she got closed to me.

"Uhm, fine. The teachers announced about what happened. The whole school surely knows about the vampire attack." I said.

"Yeah, I told them to do it. It's better that the students know so they can protect themselves too." Mom said.

"Come here Y/N, I need to tell you something." Mom said as she came serious.

She walked me to her table and made me sit across her seat.

"What is it mom? Is it very important?" I asked as I am also starting to get worried.

She walked to her chair and sat there. Pulled something from her cabinet and looked at me seriously.

"I thought I could still work on it. But everything is falling to its place. I need you to listen and understand everything that I'm about to say, sweetie. Are you with me?"

"M-mom your scaring me."

"I'm sorry. I know this is so sudden, but you need to know it."
