80. Hallucinations

Your PoV

I looked at my name after I finished the the first round.

Hong Y/N = 375 points

I looked at the student that I got matched in and bowed at him and also congratulate him.

It's just a first round, now I could head to the second round which is the one minute round.

I looked at the board again when I saw Tzuyu's name appeared.

Chou Tzuyu = 370 points

Wow, as I expected.

I went to the other side where my next match is. I know that it's not guaranteed that the half of the students on this school will win the first round. There some matches where no one wins since there is timer. Technically the only score that they will get is the score from the judges.

As I got on my next match, I recognized who I need to duel with. She's the girl in the next class who has the power of cloning.

"On your mark. You have 1 minute to win. Ready?" The teacher in charge told us.

We both get ready as the teacher gave us the signal to start.

Without any hesitation, she immediately showed her power by producing clones that is now surrounding us. She didn't waste that time since we only have a minute to end the match.

I was surprised when they all run to me at the same time. I didn't know where the first attack would be when suddenly I got kicked at my back.

I was about to look back when I felt another attack in front of me. Then it went continuously, at my side, at my lower body, even at the my upper body.

I already know that it will continue unless I'll stop it. I focused on myself, I used my telekinetic power to make some clones stopped. As I abled to controlled them, I used them to counter all the clones that's about to attack me.

They suddenly disappeared like a smoke after they got hit. As I found a solution to defeat my opponent, I managed to put all my energy on dodging the other attack. I grabbed one person and threw them to the other group of clones.

As I boticed that it's working, I continued doing it by two's. I heard the timer is started to click, meaning we only have ten seconds.

The clones started to get fewer and fewer until it's just the original one is standing.

We're both panting but I know she already used her energy by generating those clones.

At the very last second, I managed to turn her down by pushing with my telekinetic power.

"Stop!" The teacher said as the timer ends.

I looked at the board again and saw that I won the round.

second round score /750= 748 points

"Congratulations."

"Thank you."

Third Person

As Y/N finished the second round, she went straight to her next match. Unlike the other two rounds, the third round is a five minute round.

Although Y/N got some wounds from the last round, she thinks she could finish the current round before the time runs out as she saw who's she's dueling with.

Before she went to her next match, she checked on Tzuyu's score and she can't help but to be more proud as Tzuyu got it perfect.

Y/N got more motivated when she went to her position, readying herself.

Meanwhile, Tzuyu is also up on her next match. She saw Y/N's score on the board which made her smile.

She looked at her score too and realized that she got a perfect score for the second round.

As Tzuyu got on her third round match, she was surprised when she founds out that she's dueling with Sana.

"You got five minutes to win this round. The winning points is 750 points. Plus the judges points, the perfect score is 375 points. With the total points of 1,125 points. Are you ready?" The teacher asked.

I nodded as an answer as I focused on how to win this match with Sana. As far as I know about her is she has a control over snakes. The last two round is easy for me even if I didn't know what power they will use on me. I didn't know that knowing one's strength is much more complicated.

"Start!"

"You did a great run, Tzuyu. You managed to get in third round." She said while still standing on her spot.

"Thanks but I don't have time to appreciate your compliments now. We only have 5 minutes." I said and immediately ran to her to attack her.

But in my surprise, as I am close to her, a snake jumped to my direction good thing I saw it and able to avoid it.

My eyes went wide as I saw the kind of snake that just jumped in front of me. When I looked back, the snake isn't there anymore. I was confused since I know that it went behind me but then—

"Rule number one, only look at your opponent."

As I looked in front of me, Sana is already standing there with holding a snake, particularly a black mamba.

In just a blink, I felt a sting on my neck which made me halt back.

I saw the black mamba on the floor as I also slammed on the ground, holding my neck that I assumed got bitten by the snake.

"Hey! You can't do that!" I exclaimed as fear is running in my body already as I know what that snake can do to me.

I looked at the teacher hoping they will stop the match but they didn't.

"Chill, Tzuyu. My snake won't kill you. It may look like one of the most venomous snakes, but this is more friendly. The substance that it injected to you is just something that will make me win this match."

I was confused as first of what she meant with it. Then suddenly my eye sight went weird. I sight started to get blurry as the snake that bit me started to multiply.

I looked at Sana as I tried to shake the dizziness on my head. Suddenly Sana turned to a half snake.

I tried to stand up despite of what's happening to me. As I thought it will last for long, and I am gonna die, the dizziness stopped.

But as I came back to myself consciousness, I am already surrounded by snakes.

"Where are these came from?!"

"I'll give you a clue. It all came from your head." She said

I frowned as I looked around. They all
slithering towards me. I thought I would be able to stop the attack of one of the snakes but then something went off... I can't feel them.

Wait... It must be—

"You figured out. That's fast. The substance is not actually to kill you but to give you hallucinations like this. The thing is, you see the snakes but they don't. You feel their bite, but it won't kill you. Just enough to turn you down and win the round, get it?"

Are you serious?!
