72. Worries

Tzuyu's PoV

I woke up as I heard the alarm was constantly ringing. I looked at it and saw that it was Y/N's alarm. What I didn't expect is she's not in her bed.

Today there are no classes so I'm quite shocked that Y/N set her alarm.

After a minute when I woke up, Y/N went out from the bathroom.

"Good morning."

"Good morning." I said back.

She sat on her desk, not facing me as she comb her hair. I suddenly remember what happened last night. She asked me why I left the venue.

I could just tell her the real reason but I didn't. I don't know why. Maybe because I feel like I am fast on concluding things.

Maybe I am right. Maybe I do like her. But the possibility that she likes me is not sure. She would like me but maybe just a friend. And I am not yet ready to accept rejection. Not when I just realized that I do like her.

"Aren't we gonna go to cafeteria to have breakfast?" I asked on Y/N.

"Oh, actually I have to go to my mom. I'm asking information about what happened last night. Also she expected me to be there last night. Even if I'm sure granny already told mom I stayed here." Y/N explained.

"Is that so? Can I also go?"

Y/N looked at me as if she's thinking if she should also let me come with her.

"Come on, I was part of what happened last night." I said to convince her.

She just sighed and nodded. I left my bed to go to the bathroom to change. After that, Y/N and I left our room to walk to the school.

"I'm pretty sure they already know about Eunwoo. News like those are fast to spread."

"How about the werewolf?" I asked.

Y/N stopped and looked around as she shrugged.

"I don't think so. No one saw you but Jihyo. They found out about Eunwoo because we called for help. So I doubt they know." She said.

We continued to walk to the school and we finally arrived at the office. Y/N knocked first and as she got the signal, we walked inside the office.

"Good morning, principal Hong."

"Tzuyu, I didn't expect you here. Good morning."

"Good morning mom." Y/N said as she walked to her mom and hugged her.

"Did you two have a good sleep?"

"We think so. We're actually here to ask what happened after we left." Y/N said.

Principal Hong told is to sit in front of her table. We did as she also sat back on her chair.

"Well, Eunwoo is under observation. The higher members of the board is keeping her under a controlled facility. But  as of now, he hasn't say anything."

"But mom, I don't understand. How come we didn't notice that he's a vampire. He's pretty active in every annual showdown." Y/N asked.

"We concluded that he's not a natural vampire. Based also on the history of his family. None of his family was part of vampire clan. The problem now is how we're gonna explain this to his family."

"It's really a problem because the Christmas break is coming." I said.

"Can't we just tell them?"

"Who wants their child to be a deadly creature? I'm pretty sure they will break out. Worse, they might blame the school." I said.

"Tzuyu is right. Also there's a possibility they would want to see their child. We can't let that happen since Eunwoo is still out of himself."

"Anyway, did you two have breakfast already? You should stop worrying. We'll handle it well."

"We haven't. But we're on it, after this." Y/N said.

"You should go and eat now. We have people to handle the situation. Things like these shouldn't bother you so much."

"Okay mom, we'll go ahead."

"Ah may I have a minute of talk with Tzuyu? Now that she's here, I just need a small talk with her." Principal Hong said.

Y/N nodded as she looked at me and smile.

"I'll see in the cafeteria." Y/N said and said goodbye to her mom.

As Y/N left, It's just me and the principal. She's just looking at me which made me smiled awkwardly because of the silence.

"I'm sorry for staring at your for long. You're just different the first time you went here." Principal hong said.

Well she's not wrong.

"I just want to thank you for saving my daughter's life. Not once but twice."

"Oh, that's nothing, I mean I am her friend. That's normal for a friend to save her friend." I said.

"And I was there too... I can't just stand there and watch someone hurt her." I mumbled.

"So... You know I am a werewolf. What's gonna happen to me now?" I asked.

She just smiled and tapped my hand.

"I already told you the first time you saved Y/N. I do trust you. I trust my daughter too."

With that statement, I felt relief and the tension I am feeling just faded.

"You can leave now. Have a nice Tzuyu. I am glad to see you here." She said with a smile.

I guess Y/N really got her smile from her mom. Not just the smile but the attitude. No wonder why they go together. I mean their relationship is just so genuine and I can't help but to wish I also have something like that.

I left the office and go where Y/N is. As I got there, I saw Momo, Chaeyoung, and Dahyun.

"What did mom tell you?" Y/N asked as I went closer to them.

"Ah she just thanked me." I said.

"That's why the party ended early last night. I still can't believe we shipped Y/N to that vamp." Dahyun said.

"Yeah, who would have thought? It's good Tzuyu was there. Anyway, how did you stopped him?" Momo asked to me.

I looked at Y/N as I didn't expect Momo to asked that.

"Tzuyu just saw me and Eunwoo. When she noticed there's something wrong, she pulled Eunwoo away. That's why I able to us my power." Y/N said.

"Ohh."

"Aigoo, next time we should be more careful with the person that will push to Y/N." Momo said.

"Or maybe stop pushing anyone else. You guys are so crazy over my lovelife." Y/N said but more like joking and not mad.

"Girl, you're aging a year in just a few days. You're not a kid anymore." Momo said.

"Well I am more concerned about the annual showdown. It will be the next day tomorrow." Y/N said.

"Are you serious? You're like one of the best students who have a great power. Look at Tzuyu, she doesn't even care." Chaeyoung which made me snapped.

I realized I was staring at Y/N for long until Chaeyoung mentioned my name.

"I don't know, just like Y/N, I'm kinda worried about what might happen." I said.

"That's normal, it's your first time. Y/N here is a consecutive first place. No one ever beats her."

"Jihyo almost did." Dahyun said.

"It's always a big win when there's the two of them. That's normal." Chaeyoung said.

"What's not normal to you? Geez." Momo said.

I looked at Y/N again and she's thinking about something which I am sure about Jihyo.
