Your PoV

I woke up as I heard my alarm clock. It's 4th day of the week and just the usual, I have to go to school.

I prepared right away, fixed my bed and get in the bathroom to take some shower.

Also, I am planning to visit Tzuyu. Although I hope she can go back here now, It's fine if she still need to stay there in the clinic.

After I finished taking a shower, I get in my uniform and grabbed my bag before leaving the room.

It's still early, some students are still in their rooms so I am not surprised if I'll be walking at the school field alone.

As I head to the school, I decided to stopped at the cafeteria. I bought some hot chocolate and pancake for breakfast, one for me and Tzuyu.

I walked in the clinic after that. Before I entered, I knocked first as I saw a nurse checking on Tzuyu.

I walked in and recognized the nurse that is checking Tzuyu. It's the same nurse who treated her wound last time.

My mind started to work again and for some reason, I wanted to leave again.

"Good morning Y/N." The nurse greeted which made me to smile at her.

Get yourself together, girl!

"Hi! Good morning. Uhm, is she fine?" I asked and looked at Tzuyu who's sleeping.

"Yes. Are those for her? That's good, she needs to eat before she'll take medicine." The nurse said.

"Ahh, yeah. Uhm... I'll just wait for her to wake up." I said, hinting that I want her to leave.

"Sure no problem. I'll just go back to my desk." She said and left the room.

I put down the bag that I was holding and looked at Tzuyu.

"She left already, you don't need to pretend sleeping anymore." I said which made Tzuyu open her eyes.

I looked at her again and shake my head as I stopped myself on laughing.

"I bet you still feel awkward with her huh? Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?" I teased which made her glare at me.

"Good morning! I bought you a breakfast!"

"What's that?"

"Something you should eat." I just said and unpacked it from the bag.

"I also bought one for me. I was thinking we could eat together since we're friends now." I said which made her scoffed.

"Ugh, don't mention it."

"Whatever." I replied.

Gladly she didn't reject the food this time. We both eat and enjoy the food that I bought until the last drop of hot chocolate.

"Aren't you supposed to be having breakfast with your mom instead?"

"Yeah, but they have meeting for this morning."

"They?"

"The school's board of directors. It's actually a big meeting, I don't really understand it." I confessed.

Tzuyu just nodded and became silent again. She's just looking at the ceiling as if I am not around.

"Don't you get bored here? I hope they have TV." I said.

"It's okay, I don't want noise." She said, emphasizing the last word.

"Oh."

"Uhm, how about let's call your parent—"

"Don't." She immediately cut.

"Why not?"

"They're busy." Tzuyu said.

"Is that so? May I know what your parents' work? I'll tell mine." I said which made her roll her eyes.

"My mom is a principal, how about yours?"

"They are both business people. They usually spend more time in their company." Tzuyu said with sense of sadness.

"Ohh, the first time I saw you, I knew you are rich."

"How is that even necessary?" She said.

I just shrugged and continued to think of a question.

"So, you're an only child?"

"Obviously."

"Same!" I squealed which made her look at me.

Obviously we are not having the same reaction. It's not that I am happy that I am an only child, but because we are the same!

"Can we stop talking about family? You can just go if you want to talk about it." She said.

"Okay, uhm... How about friends? Do you have friends in your former school?"

"No, I don't have friends."

"For real? Am I your first friend? Im so honored!"

"Stop it."

"What? We're friends now, right? And you said you don't have friends... Well now you do!"

"What's surprising about that? It's not like it's special to have friends."

"It is, friends can be also your family. I love my mom, I really do. But one thing that makes me want to live is because of my friends too."

"Who are you friends again?"

"Well I have a lot of friends. I grew up here. But I mostly go with Momo, Chaeyoung, and Dahyun."

"How about Jihyo?" She asked which made me stopped.

"She's you're friend too?"

"We used to be close friends." I just said.

"What happened?"

I smiled at her and just shrugged.

"I don't know. Maybe there are just people aren't meant to stay forever with you."

"But she's your friend, right? Your family."

"Well... Yeah."

"Does that mean even friendships can end? I thought there was nothing worse than the family." Tzuyu chuckled.

I looked at her and even if she's laughing, I know that she's sad about it too.

I held her and which made her looked at me confusedly.

"Maybe some people leave, but most people stay." I said and smiled.

"Okay? Aren't you going to be late in class?"

I snapped and remember that I have still to go in class. I get my bag and looked at Tzuyu again.

"I'll come back later at lunch time. Just take your rest, okay?"

"See you later!" I said as I left the clinic.

As I walk to my classroom, I keep thinking about what Tzuyu said. The fact that she thinks about family that way, made me want to change her perspective.

It's not like I hate the way she think about it. I know she got some stories about her family that she cannot open by now.

But I want her to think that family doesn't stop with just her and her parents.
