68. Evening Party

The day has come where every student of the unordinary school is waiting for. Unlike what we expect for a party to be, everyone is busy as they are preparing. But that is only for the meantime, because later at night, they'll be spending their time for the evening party they prepared for.

Y/N is in her mom's room as she's also getting ready. Although the event happens every year, she has a feeling that this year's event is gonna be a different one. She's extra sure especially now she discovered one more thing she can do except on controlling things by her mind. Who would've thought that she could also have her mother's power?

As she's sitting by the mirror, she's watching the innocent reflection of her and her mother behind her.

"I've got something for you." Her mom whispered right through her ears as she smiled into the younger with awe.

She left for a while and went back holding a box of something. Y/N waited till her mom revealed what's on the box. As her mother opened it, it was an elegant locket necklace fits to her outfit that she'll be wearing.

"Advance gift for my sweetest sweetheart. I'm so proud of you, Y/N." Her mom said as she wears the necklace to the younger.

Y/N looked at it like a greatest treasure. She didn't even expect that as she opened it, a picture of her mother and her would be on it.

"Thank you, mom. This is a really beautiful gift."

"You're always welcome, dear. That's the least I give you for being a great daughter."

Y/N smiled through her mother's words. It's a good thing she's never been shy around her mom. Why not? She technically treat her as her best friend too.

"Let's go and get ready."

Y/N nodded and went to the bathroom to change in her dress. It only took some time after she finished getting on her black sequinned dress.

"You really look so beautiful, dear." Her mom complimented as she watches her daughter wearing that sleek dress.

Meanwhile, Y/N smiled as she's feeling herself with her dress. As soon as they are both ready, Y/N and her mom left the her office and outside, Eunwoo is waiting for them.

"Good evening, Principal Hong... Y/N, you look gorgeous in that dress."

"Thank you. You look really good too." Y/N complimented back as she saw Eunwoo in black suit.

"We better get going." Y/N's mother said as she walked ahead while the two followed her behind.

They walked outside the school and head to the venue which is the place under the school, the underground.

While walking, Y/N is holding Eunwoo's arms as they got there.

Y/N wanders her eyes, looking for someone around the place. Her mother tole her to go with her first in front so they could start the party. Eunwoo also come with them into the stage as they walked there.

"Good evening students of lovely school. Today is another day to celebrate as we are heading to the end of the year. We've been through alot. And I am proud to say, that we went through all of that with courage and peace. Although not the year that I expected, but a good year because we are still all together. Allow me to start this event with a happy greatings to all of you. Have fun and responsible, my dear students. Let's enjoy this night!"

Everyone cheered and the music started. Y/N told her mother that she's going to her friends which her mother didn't opposed to. As the principal, the other members of the schools, including the teachers are watching and havinf fun too, the students started their night right away.
