70. He Vamp

Tzuyu's PoV

Love, adore, like... Those are some words that I am not sure what it feels like. I grew up with the kind of environment where negligence and disappointments are the words I always hear.

At first I was wondering if this world is just full of those kinds of treatment. As if the word love is a foreign language to me.

I seek to feel that treatment. I first thought my parents were the one who should give that kind of treatment that I've been wanting for.

I may not be able to experience that love and affection before, but I am aware of what kind of treatment and feeling I've been searching for.

And who would've thought that I'll be seeing that kind of affection towards her? She's just a troublesome roommate at first glance. She won't stop until she gets what she wants.

I didn't even notice that I let down my walls on her. And before I could know, she's already becoming the reason why I feel those things I've never felt before.

"Tzuyu come on! I thought we're gonna dance?!" She called with a smile on her face.

Why I just noticed it now? Her smile is different than the others and much more different than me. It's contagious and genuine.

As she reached for me and held my hand. I felt this weird feeling again.

"Tzuyu, just dance! No one is gonna judge you here!"

But before I could do what she wanted, before I could grant the wish she was asking for, the music stopped and turned to something else.

"Okay everyone, it's time to grab your partners. Let's enjoy this night!"

Everyone gathered up their partners. I was looking at Y/N when she realized that we are almost in the middle of the dancefloor.

I saw Nayeon at the side of my eyes dancing with Jeongyeon. I also spotted Dahyun and Momo together. So what's stopping me?

"Y/N—"

"Y/N! There you are!"

"Eunwoo. Hey..."

"Let's dance?" I heard Eunwoo ask.

I was just looking at him when I realized Y/N was looking at me.

"I-I'll just be at our table. Enjoy." I said and walked away from the dancefloor.

As I walk feeling more upset than ever, I looked back and saw that she's dancing with him under the mirrorball with a sweet but slow song is playing.

And for the first time, the same time I felt loving someone, I felt crushed and broken.

I watched her swaying while talking to that guy who's clearly doesn't see her just like a friend. The way he looked into her eyes and how she smiled back to him.

Maybe I am jealous. Maybe I do wish it was me. Is it even too early to say that I fell for her? Am I too late to feel this way?

Your PoV

"Hi."

"Hey, how are you?" I asked as Eunwoo and I kept dancing on the dancefloor.

"I'm fine. I was looking for you back at your table. I didn't know you went here first."

"Oh, yeah, I just need to accompany Tzuyu—" I stopped as I looked at Tzuyu's direction which is our table but I saw her walking out of the venue.

"Y/N?"

"Huh?" I snapped and looked at Eunwoo again.

"After we dance, I have something to tell you."

"Can't you just tell me right now?" I asked.

Accidentally, I locked on his eyes. I noticed something different. More like the color changed.

"Later."

I looked back again to chek if Tzuyu came back at the table but I didn't see even her shadow.

"Are you okay?"

"Huh? Yeah, uhm can I just check on something? I'll be back real quick." I said and leave him to check on Tzuyu.

I followed where I saw she went but I didn't see anyone around. I was wondering if she went back to the dorm but I doubt she'll do that.

As I am about to go back at the venue, I was surprised when Eunwoo appeared in front of me.

He smiled at me and put his blazer for me.

"Eunwoo! I thought I told you that I'll  comeback real quick?"

"I have to tell you something."

"Yeah? Let's just talk inside—"

"Look at me." He whispered, before I could even react, he's already holding me. I looked at his eyes and felt something different. But I'm sure I felt it before.

I can't help but to stick my eyes at him
even if I want to look away. Something on his eyes tell me not to look away. As if I'm not in myself but still conscious of what is happening to me.

My eyes widened in shock as the next happening is something I didn't expected. A pair of fangs appeared right on his teeth. His grinning like he'd never been so hungry before.

"Don't worry, after this, you'll turn like us."

I can't scream. I can't move. I felt like my whole body is frozen. As if I'm fighting with my own powers.

I saw Eunwoo walked slowly towards me. He went straight next to my neck and I could already feel his breathing on my skin.

"Hey!"

My knees went weak as the force that's stopping me disappeared. I looked at the person who pulled Eunwoo away from me and saw it's Tzuyu.

"Y/N!" She exclaimed and helped me to stand.

"He's one of them." I said as I kept one hand hold on my neck.

He didn't able to bite me. But I felt he's close on doing that.

"You shit! You ruined my plan!" Eunwoo exclaimed as he's about to attack us but I managed to stopped him using my powers.

Tzuyu on my side didn't hold back. I was surprised when she suddenly turned into a werewolf and hovered on Eunwoo.

"Tzuyu!" I called.

As I thought we were able to handle the situation, someone showed up which I didn't expect.

"Y/N!" Jihyo called who came out from the venue. She saw the werewolf above Eunwoo.

She immediately pulled me away and yelled for help.

"Jihyo don't —"

I was late when some patrols went to us. Tzuyu ran away but I still able to stopped Eunwoo when he tried to escape.

"Get him! He's a vampire!" I exclaimed.

The patrols did just like what I said. I walked to him as I looked at him.

"Let me go! I'm gonna kill you! Let me go!"

"You're also a vampire. Why I didn't notice it?" I said.

"It's because I wasn't in the first place! This all your fault! They turned me to one because of you!" He exclaimed.

Although I am still confused, I saw mom also went out from the venue.

"Y/N, are you okay?! What happened?"

"He's a vampire. He tried to attack me but Tzu—" I suddenly remember about Tzuyu.

"Mom, I'll comeback! I'll comeback, I promised!" I yelled before running to search for Tzuyu.

I just ran wherever I my feet brings me. Then I saw Tzuyu at the back of the school, still as a werewolf.

"Tzuyu! Thank God you're okay!" I said as I run to her and take off the blazer on me.

Tzuyu transformed back and hugged me unexpectedly.

"You too! I'm glad you're fine."

"Y/N!"

Suddenly our conversation was cut when I heard Jihyo. I looked back and saw her with a little tornado on her hand and ready to attack Tzuyu.
