58. New Problem

Third Person

"Y/N let's go!' Eunwoo shouted as he saw the man at the edge of the bookshelf.

The man is staring to them in hunger. Blood dripping out of her mouth. But the more noticeable is the fangs that it has, pointing out through its skin.

On the floor, a lifeless girl with a bite on her neck was lying.

Y/N was blown of the situation. She can't move her feet even danger is just few steps away from her. She just snapped as Eunwoo pulled her away from the place. They were about to exit the place when the same man appeared in from of them, blocking the doorway in just a speed of light.

Before they could react, the mysterious man grabbed Eunwoo on his neck. He also shoved Y/N effortlessly, making Y/N slammed through the tables.

As Eunwoo is struggling to put the man's hand away, he is also struggling on his breathing. He tried to use his power and tried to burn the man's hand which made him fall and successfully freed from the man's grip and for the man to scream in pain.

"Y/N!"

Y/N snapped back and pulled herself together. She used the tables and throw it to the mysterious man using her potential.

"Eunwoo let's go!" Y/N yelled as she helped Eunwoo to stand while the man was distracted.

They are running out of library and Y/N immediately run to her mother's office. She knocked almost like banging the door. As the door went open, she saw her mom.

"Y/N! What happened?!"

"Mom! There's someone in the library! It tried to attack us!"

"What?!" Her mother didn't waste time and ran there while Eunwoo and Y/N also followed. As they got there, all they see is the mess.

Her mother opened the main light to look for the surroundings but they didn't see even the shadow of the mysterious man.

"Mom, there's a b-body." Y/N said and walked her mom to the last shelf and there, they saw the lifeless body of a girl.

"Eunwoo, please call the school patrol, now!"

Eunwoo nodded and did the principal's order.

The principal walked to the body to examine it and the first thing she saw is the mark of the fangs on the body's neck.

"Mom, what's happening? What was that?"

"Y/N, what did you see? Did it do something to you?" Her mother asked as she left the body to examine her daughter now. She first checked the neck and as she made she there's no same mark, she sighed in relief.

But Y/N got a wound getting pushed on tables.

Not so long the patrol came. They get the body while the principal feed them information.

"It's better to end this day. Y/N, go to my room first. I'll be there after the emergency meeting with them. Eunwoo, I'll send you with some patrol team so you can go back to your dorm. I'll also send a medic to treat you."

"But mom."

"Listen to me, Y/N. I'll be there after this. Lock the doors, don't let anyone in."

Y/N had no choice but to agree. As she arrived to her mom's office, she made she everything is locked. Even the windows.

She walked to her mom's room and tried to calm herself for the last minute.

Meanwhile at the dorm, Tzuyu had to spend her night alone. After Y/N left, she's just stuck in her place, which is her bed.

She's reading the book she's holding, more like staring at it and pretending to read even if no words want to process in her mind.

Her eyes gazed at the empty bed in the room. The silence is loud and deafening.

Tzuyu sighed frustratedly, making it as the only sound can be heard in the room. Tzuyu went out of her bed and walked to the bathroom to get a shower so she could go to sleep after.

It's just a quick one, after she done that, she went back to her bed and ready to lay down when she heard a knock.

Without even thinking, she went out on her bed again and opened the door, expecting it's her roommate who's knocking.

"Tzuyu."

Tzuyu's words was cut off before she could call the name of her roommate when she realized it's not her but her friend, Dahyun and Chaeyoung.

Dahyun and Chaeyoung walked in without any permission and locked the door behind.

"Hey what are you doing here?!" Tzuyu asked flustered.

"Shh! Where's Y/N?" Chaeyoung asked.

"She's not here, she's in her mom." Tzuyu said and walked to her bed.

"By this time?" Dahyun asked.

"She's not going to sleep here. She got some of things and will be sleeping on her mom's place. Why are you looking at way anyway?" Tzuyu asked in annoyance.

Dahyun and Chaeyoung looked at each other as if they are thinking of something.

"Forget it, just leave, I need to sleep." Tzuyu said.

"Wait, so if Y/N is in the school, then she knows what happened there." Dahyun said which made Tzuyu frowned.

"Why? What happened?"

"We saw from our window that there's a commotion happening outside the school building. The patrols are strolling around the school." Chaeyoung said.

"There's five people went to boys' dorm too. They are with Eunwoo." Dahyun said.

"I'm sure there's something big happened in the school. I hope Y/N is fine." Chaeyoung said.

"Wait, didn't you try to check what was that about?" Tzuyu asked who's now getting worried on her roommate's situation.

"No. I'm pretty sure they won't tell us too. We'll find out about it tomorrow."

"Yeah, we'll go. See tomorrow Tzuyu. Goodnight." Dahyun said and they left the room.

Meanwhile, Tzuyu can't just stay there. After what she found out, she can't just get herself to sleep. She left her room and went to a person that may or may not help her.

She knocked on their door and after a minute, Nayeon opened the door.

"Tzuyu, hey, what's up? Isn't it almost late to knock on doors?" Nayeon asked.

"Is Jihyo's awake? I need to talk to her."

Before Nayeon could reply, Jihyo appeared behind her and made her way to Tzuyu.

"You're gonna ask if I heard about the commotion in school? Yup." Jihyo said.

"Wait, what?" Nayeon asked who's confused.

"Y/N is in the school, she stayed there in her mom's place. Is she okay?" Tzuyu asked.

"Hey what's happening? Jihyo, what commotion?" Nayeon asked.

Jihyo paused as she closed her eyes. She seems to be hearing the information she gathered from the wind.

"What happened?" Tzuyu asked.

Jihyo shuts her eyes hard and hissed.

"She's fine, but she got hurt."

"What?!"

Jihyo was startled but remained still as Tzuyu snapped to her.

"Tch, if you didn't let her go to the school, she won't be in that situation." Jihyo just said and closed the door on Tzuyu.
