A Love Like Ours Never Ends

"Our love keeps growing"

   Sally was finishing up with her meeting with the person who was going to help her to steal Newman Media.
"Thanks so much for agreeing to do this Derek "she said  "I'll be in touch"she shook his hand
Then they parted ways, Sally made her way to the bar
"Scotch please"she told the bartender as she sat down
A few minutes later he came back with her drink
"Thanks"she said
Sally was lost in thought when her phone rang, she smiled when she saw who was calling
"Hey Kansas" she said
"How is it going. Is my girl killing it"Adam asked
"You know what, I believe I am"she smirked
"So what are you doing now"he asked
"Oh I'm just sitting at the bar winding down. Hoping this cute guy will come flirt with me" she teased him
"What guy,you better tell him you have a boyfriend"
Sally laughed "Relax. There is no guy. I'm really just thinking about you as I drink our drink"she told him
"And I bet you are running your finger along the rim of the glass, what you do when you are deep in thought" he said
"Yes" she stopped and giggled "Oh Kansas you know we so well"she sighed
"Aren't you going to ask me what I'm doing right now"he asked her
"Oh no, I'm such a horrible girlfriend. What is my boyfriend doing right now...Oh wait let me guess"she said before he let them answer
"Alright go ahead"he told her
"If you called me, Connor must be with Chelsea"she said
"Correct"he said
"How is he doing by the way"she asked
"He is better, thanks"he told her
"Okay so back to what you are up too, you are probably at your apartment bored out of your mind"she laughed "But you are thinking of me"she said
"Not bad"he told her "But you are wrong"
"You're not thinking of me"she said in a sad tone, she could hear him chuckle
"No I'm thinking of you for sure. I'm thinking about how I wish I was with you"
"Me too,we would have so much fun in this city"she sighed
"Hey did you know if we make the same wish at the same time it comes true" he told her
"Oh really so your saying if we both wish we are together it comes true"she asked
"Yes, wanna try it"he asked her
"Let's do it"she smiled
"Ok so we both close our eyes and wish we're together. Now close your eyes"he told her

Sally closed her eyes
Adam smiled and walked over and stood next to her "Now open"he said softly
Sally opened her eyes, and turned to her left and saw him "Oh my God"she got up and hugged him
"Told you it works"he said as he held her
They pulled away after a few minutes
"What are you doing"she asked
"I wanted to surprise you"he took her hands "And I thought here tonight we could just be Adam and Sally"
" I like that"she pulled him by his jacket and kissed him "So what should we do"she asked
"I have actually planned something" he told her as he reached for her hand
"Lead the way Mr. Newman"she smiled and took his hand

Adam took her to a private outdoor patio. There were lights set up and a table with candles.
"Oh wow this beautiful"she looked all around "You can see everything from here"she said
Adam pulled her chair out "For you my lady"
"Why thank you"she smiled at him
He gave her quick kiss on her head, before sitting across for her
"So how was the meeting" he asked
Sally shook her head "No work talk tonight"
"Okay so what should we talk about" he asked
"Us" she reach for his hand "And our future after this is all over"she told him
"I see us taking over the world"he told her
Sally smiled
"But watching you with Connor made it clear on what I see"he said
"What is that"she asked
"I want that life with you, that family life. You are so good with him"
Sally looked down, Adam noticed
"Hey I didn't mean to scare"he said trying to get to her eye contact back
Sally shook her head "It didn't, but I don't like lying to Connor about us not being together, it doesn't feel right"
Adam squeezed her hand
"When he called me for help thinking we weren't together. What is he gonna think when he finds out"
"Hey we can tell him it was because of that night we reconnected"
She nodded
"Come here"he said as he pulled her around the table.She sat on his lap "You have the best heart." He kissed her cheek "It's what made me fall for you.You heard all these things about me and you still chose me"he kissed her hand
"We are both flawed" she brushed her fingers along the back of his neck
He kissed her "I have one more surprise for you. But it's on our room"
Sally was intrigued and smiled

Adam brought her to the door
"Okay close your eyes" he told her
"Do I have too"she whined
"Yes"he whispered to her
Adam opened the door and walked her into the room and had her stand in the middle
"Open" he whispered in her ear
When Sally opened her eyes she saw rose petals all over the room and on the bed. And candles
"Oh wow how romantic"she said
"I thought so too."he placed kisses on her shoulder "Our own little escape"he said
Adam slowly unzipped her jumpsuit and slowly slid it off her body
Sally leaned against him as he ran his hands  down her body. She then turned around to unbutton his shirt
"You look sexier without this"she said and she was kissing his neck
Adam cupped her face "God you're so beautiful"
Sally captured his lips.Adam wrapped his arms around her and guided them to the bed. He slowly lowered them down on the bed
Adam was on top of her running his fingertips up and down her leg as they continued kissing. Sally was running her hands up his back

They were wrapped up in each other's arms catching their breath
"How is it we keep getting better"she said she kissed his chest
"Our love keeps growing"he kissed her head
"That it does"she said as she looked up at him and smiled
Sally then rolled on top of him "Remember when we first got together and I told you I didn't want to be your dirty little secret"she said as she looked into his eyes
"Yes, what about it" he said as he combed her hair
"It's ironic because it's exactly what we are right now"
"Ya it is."
"It's exciting and we are playing everyone but in the back of my mind. This is all gonna blow up in our faces some how. And I don't want to lose you Adam"she told him
Adam took her hand and kissed the palm of her hand "You are not gonna lose me okay. If our plan doesn't work we will still have each other" he said as he moved her hair out of her face
"I'm sorry for putting a damper on the night"
"You didn't. I always want to you to be honest with me and tell me what your feeling, no matter what"he smiled
"I love you"she said
"I love you too"he said and he pulled her down for a kiss
