"So what do we do now Adam."

Sally was heading to her office when Victoria stopped him
"Sally can we discuss the meeting you had with Derek Chambers"she asked
"Sure do you want to do it in my office or yours"
"Yours is fine"she said
Sally stepped aside to let Victoria go first. Sally went over and sat down at her desk
"You did get the reports I emailed last night right?"Sally asked
"Yes it looks like he will be a good fit for Newman Media and take it to new heights"
"That's what we all want"Sally said in a stern voice
There was a knock on the door
"Come in"Sally said
A tall gentleman came in "The secretary said I could find Victoria Newman here"he said
"You must be Derek Chambers"she stood up and shook his hand
"Yes Ma'am" he said
Sally smirked as she watched this interaction
"Well I look forward to seeing what you do for this division of Newman Enterprises"she said Victoria looked back at Sally "see you Sally" she said then left
"Oh she will be surprised to see what we do"Sally told him as she leaned back in her chair
Derek sat down across from her "So who else know" he asked
"Just me"Sally lied "I don't want the wrong people to find out. But I wasn't expecting you for a few weeks"
"Wanted to get the lay of the land" he told her
Chloe came in looking at her tablet "Hey can you look over this for me"she finally looked up "Oh who is this"she asked
"This is Derek Chambers, he is the one I had that meeting with. Derek this is my COO Chloe Mitchell"
"Nice to meet you"she said
"You as well"he smiled
"Let's see what you have here"Sally reached for the tablet. Sally went over what Chloe had "This looks good so far, just send me it to me when it's finished"she told her
"Will do"Chloe said "Nice to meet you, hope to see you around"Chloe walked over to the door, then turned and mouth "He's cute"to Sally then left

Adam was eating lunch at Society when Victor came in
"Hello son"he said
"Father"
"May I join you"Victor asked
"If you are gonna judge my choices then, I don't want to ruin my day" he told him
Victor ignored Adam and sat down anyway "This is about Sally Spectra"
"What now Dad"Adam crossed his arms across his chest
Victor just handed him a file "This is all about her past"he told him
"I don't know why you are showing me this. I'm no longer with her"
"She is still connected to my family's company"Victor yelled
"Of all the things we have all done. Sally shouldn't be punished for trying to make it in this world"
"She will do anything to get what she wants"he said
"So will you Dad. Now if you will excuse me"Adam got up and took the file with him
He ran into Sally outside
"Hey are you okay"she asked
Adam turned her around to walk the other way "Not here,let's go"he said as the walked away

Adam took her back to his apartment. They walked in Sally closed the door
"Adam what is going on, you seemed annoyed. Did I do something"
" I am, but it's not towards you Babe" he squeezed her shoulders "But we might have a problem with out take over"
"Okay what happened"she asked
"My father dug into your past"he held up the file
"Oh"Sally said as sat on the couch "You know everything I swear"
Adam sat down next to her and took her hand in his "I know that. I'm concerned about my father. If he finds out about this plan and us"
"So what do we do now Adam." She looked at him
"We will come up with something"he told her
"Oh and Derek showed up today"
"Already, thought you said he would be starting in couple weeks"
"I thought so too, he said he wanted to to get the lay of the land"she said
"So we need to come up with back up plan. Just incase something happens before Derek finalizes the plan"she added
"Which is what Sal"he asked
"I don't know"she got up and started pacing "I thought I had everything covered, why didn't I think Victor would look into something"she was panicking
Adam got up and stopped her "Hey as of right now he doesn't know because he would have blasted me"
"I didn't think how stressful this would be"she placed her head on his chest
Adam wrapped his arms around her and rubbed circles on her back
She pulled out of his hold " I should go inform Derek" she went to leave
"Sal"Adam called for her
"Yes"she turned around and looked at him
"Don't worry about this okay,I'll do some digging"he told her
Sally nodded and left
Adam pulled out his phone and dialed a number
"Hey are you busy? Okay we need to meet. I need a favor"

Chloe was waiting for Sally in her office
"So I had a little chat with Derek. He is extremely intelligent" Chloe told her
"That's why Victoria wanted him."Sally said
"He would also be a good for your rebound"
"Chloe it's not gonna happen"
"Well it doesn't need mean anything, that's the good part about rebound sex"
Sally shook her head
"Will work my magic and you can thank me later"

Adam walked up to the door and knocked. Tucker answered the door
"Come on in" he gestured for Adam to enter
Adam walked in
"So what is this favor you need Adam"Tucker asked
"I might need your help and for your favorite part it involves Victor" Adam told him
"I'm listening"
Adam told Tucker all about the plan Sally and him had
"And I'm afraid my father might find out, so I was hoping you could help us buy Newman Media from them"
"What's in it for me Adam"he asked
"A silent partner. Look Newman Media is really special to me. And I was pushed to far with my father's games. And I want him to pay"
Tucker nodded
"So do we have a deal"
"Deal"he shook his hand
"Thank you I will call you if we need you to step in"he told him
"I will be looking forward to it"he said
