Adam was holding Sally as she was running her finger tips up his arm. They were content
"You know I should probably head home"he told her as he rested his chin on top of her head
She got out of his embrace "Do you have to"she asked
"You know I would rather say here with you, but it's probably best if I go." he said as caressing her cheek
She closed her eyes and nodded "You're right" she said as she was getting out of bed
"Hey where are you going"he said as he grabbed her arm to stop her
"To get dress so this way it's easier for you to leave"she winked at me
"You think it's gonna be easy" he said as he pulled on top of him "Just know, I'll be thinking about. Wishing we could have dinner together."he kissed her "Curled up on the couch watching some movie. You falling asleep in my lap,and for the rest of night I just watch you sleep"
She smiled "I'll be thinking of you too."she said as she laid in his arms "It might be a while before we get to be like this again"
"I know, we will make this work okay. Just think of the bigger picture"he rubbed her back

Sally walked into the office and saw Chloe waiting for her
"Sorry I'm late"she told her
"Hey I'm actually surprised you came in" she said "Are you okay"
"Look I know you are not a fan of Adam's but if care about me like you say you do, please don't say I told you so"Sally broke down
Chloe came over and wrapped her arms around Sally "I won't, I promise"she said
"You have no idea how hard it was to get out of bed this morning."she said
"I know how much he meant to you"Chloe said
"He still does Chloe, last night made no sense it came out of no where"Sally said as she sat down
"Did Adam really say it was because of his family"Chloe asked
"That's what he told me, but of all the conversations we had about him not caring what his family thought. He loved me"she told her"But then I hear him say he wanted to let me shore to Sharon"she sighed and rested her head into her hands

Adam was sitting in the coffee house, when Jack came up to him
"Thanks for meeting me"Jack said as he sat down
"No problem, what is this about"Adam asked
"Well after we talked last night. I had an idea, since you are out of Newman how would you like to come work with me at Jabot"Jack asked
"Jack as much as I'm upset with my father. I don't think it's best I go work for the competition for revenge"he said as he took a sip of his coffee
"That's not why I offered it to you. We made a good team in the past. And I know how much you wanted working at Newman to finally work out. I just wanted you to have some place to go, because how get. I want to be there for"he told him
"Can I think about it, you know everything happening so fast"
"Of course, I hope you say yes"Jack smiled
Just then Sally walked in, they both looked at each other
Jack turned to see, then turned back to Adam "You okay " he asked
"Ya as much as I hurts we gotta get used to it you know"
Sally was ordering coffee, then turned to them "Morning Jack...Adam"
"Good to see you Sally..I should get to the office"Jack looked at Adam "Are you gonna be okay" he asked
"Ya Jack thanks. I'll be in touch with my answer"he told him
"Sounds good. Bye Sally"he said then left
Adam went to say something but Sally quickly grabbed the coffees and rushed out.A few minutes later he got a text
"Why do you look so cute when you are trying to be sad"Sally texted him

Both Sally band and Chloe were working,when Victor walked in
"Excuse me Chloe I need to speak to Miss Spectra alone" he told her
Chloe nodded "I'll be back later"she said as she left
Sally closed the laptop "What can I do for you Mr. Newman"she asked politely
"I heard about what happened between you and my son"he said as he sat across from her
"I bet you were celebrating, but why are you here"
"I knew you weren't right for him. But I kept my mouth shut. But now that you two are no longer together I can tell you exactly what I think about you"he crossed his arms
"You don't have to, I know you never liked me because what I did to your granddaughter. And as much as I am deeply sorry for what I did. But I was doing exactly what would have done to get what want regardless who you hurt."she leaned forward
"You don't want to mess with me"he shout "I do what ever it takes"
"I know I saw first hand what you did to your son"she told him
"That is none of your business"he pointed at her
"It is if you are the reason for our back up and for how he feeling right now "
Victor said nothing all he did was get up and slam the door

Sally was was sitting on the bench in the park staring off in space. Adam approached her
"Sally are okay"he was concerned
"Huh"she snapped out of it "Oh sorry what are you doing here"she asked
"I was just taking a walk, then I saw you and by the looks of it you're not doing so good.What happened?"
"I don't if we should be doing this"she looked around
"Hey it's just us"he sat down next to her "Talk to me"
"Victor"was all Sally could say
"Did he fire you?"he asked
"No"she shook her head"But I don't know how you put up with him all these years."she looked at him
"It wasn't easy"he told her
He was stroking her head.Chloe saw this and walked up to them
"What are you doing" she asked
Adam quickly pulled away "I was walking and saw her upset so I wanted to make sure she okay"Adam told her
"Well of course she isn't okay, you broke her heart Adam"she yelled at him
Sally stopped her"Chloe it's okay"she turned to Adam "Thanks but I should go"she said and got up and left
Chloe turned back to Adam "You need to leave her alone. You wanted this break up. So let her go and heal from this. Don't mess with her emotions" she told him
Adam stood up"Good to see Chloe "he said then left

Sally was in her hotel room later that night, drinking when her phone went off
"Hello"she answered
"It's me"Adams voice came from other side
"What is up"she asked as she took a sip
"Are you alone"he asked
"Yes just me and our scotch"she said as she looked at the glass
Just then there was a knock on the door. She smirked and walked over and opened the door
"You just can't stay away"she smiled
Adam didn't say anything, he just came in and connected his lips with hers. He picked her up,she wrapped her legs around his waist. He closed the door with his foot. He move them to the couch
Adam was kissing her neck "Adam we are supposed to be hating each other and this is far from hating"she giggled
"Sal" he looked up at her "Do you see anyone here right now
She shook her head
"Then right now we get to love each other"
Sally took the lead and quickly removed his clothes. She moved them so she was on top of him.She started leaving kisses along his bare chest. Adam then unzipped her dress.And slowly removed it from her body
"You're are the most beautiful person I have ever seen"he said as scanned her body

Later on they were still laying on the couch. Sally has her head on his stomach while Adam was brushing his fingers through her hair
"Baby "he said softly
"Ya Adam"she said
"Maybe I should quit Newman Media"he told her
"What why would you do that"she shot up to look moved up to look at him
"For two reasons"he said
"Which are"she asked
"For one I don't like how my father treats and I'm not there to back you up if you needed me"
"Hey" she rubbed his cheek "I'm tough your father is a piece of work, but he doesn't scare me"he kissed him she then pulled away "What is the other reason"she asked
"Pretending not to love you is harder then I thought it would be" he said as he took her hand
"I know"she laid back down "Today at the park all I wanted was for you to hold me" she said
"I am now" he said as he kissed the top of her head
