A Love Like Ours Never Ends

    It was New Years Eve Sally woke expecting Adam to be by her side but when she reached over his space was empty. She looked around and saw a note on his pillow with a rose on top of it
Sally picked it up and read
"Morning Beautiful,
      I know you wanted to stay in today ( and I promise will end our night back here). But I would love for you to meet me somewhere.First I need you to put on the dress I have laid out for you"Sally looked over and saw the black dress hanging on the door. She continued reading "Before you complain that it might not fit, I promise it will fit just right. I can't wait to see you"
Sally got off the bed and went over to the dress, she unpinned the note on it "After you get ready meet me at the place we first bonded"

Sally walked into Society "Alright, let's see what Daddy's is up too" she said out load to the babies
Sally looked all around for Adam but couldn't find him. So she walked over to the bar
"Excuse me, I'm looking for Adam Newman have you seen him"she asked the bartender
"Are you Sally?" he asked
"Yes"she responded but was unsure why he asked
"This was left for you" he told her as he handed her a note and walked away
She opened it "So you finally made it. But as you can see I'm not here"Sally rolled her eyes and continued to read "I promise you are going to love this . I just need you to go to the place we would bump into each other" Sally thought for second "The park" she said then left

Sally made it to the park and because it was winter it was practically empty. She saw a rose sitting on the bench with another note
"Come on Adam, I'm pregnant and don't have energy to go on a wild goose chase with you"she groaned
She started reading "I promise you this is the final note. Come to the place where we are about to embark on this amazing new journey with N+S. I can't wait to see you"

Sally arrived at N+S and walked into the office. She turned on the lights. She was blown away when she saw the office decorated in every holiday except New Years Eve
"Adam" she said softly
Sally walked around taking it all in, she ran her fingers along the streamers
"Brings back memories doesn't it" Adam said
Sally turned around and smiled "Just like I did for you last year" she said
Adam walked over to her "Crazy how things change in a year"he took her hands
"Ya, I never thought I would be pregnant"she laughed
Adam placed his hand on her bump "Yes"he laughed "But I was talking more about how we have this company and it's all ours" he said running his thumb along her stomach
Sally started laughing "Right"she kissed him "So are we recreating everything, our we watching a movie"she asked
"No" he took her hand and walked over to the table "I planned something else" he said as pulled out her chair "But first we eat"

As they were eating and reminiscing. Sally looked at Adam
"Adam"she said
"Yes"he smiled
"What would you like?" she asked
"In what?"he asked all confused
"In our nuggets, boys or girls"she smile
"I would be happy with either, but it would be so cool to have a daughter" he smiled
Sally smiled back "Daddy's little girl" she said softly "Hey you might get two"
They both laughed
Adam took her hand "Is this your way of saying you want to find out"
"No, I don't know if I want to, I like imagining whose in here, you know. I think I would love it if we found out the day of"she said
"Then that's what we will do"he kissed her hand
"I love you so much"she said
"I'm so glad you said that" he laughed "Because there was a reason I sent you all around town this morning" he told her
"Oh so it wasn't just to annoy me" she said
"No and I'm sorry if  I did. You see when I took you to Kansas I asked you something and you turned me down.."
"Adam.." she started saying
"No let me finish"he told her
"Okay"she gestured for him to continue
"You turned me down, with good reason at the time. And I told you I would ask you when you least expected it"
Sally started crying
"So I thought about how could ask you with so much meaning behind it. I sent you to those places because every time I saw you. I fell in love with your even more .I couldn't think of a way to represent Tuscany, which reminds me we never got to dance" he laughed
Sally smiled
"So, New Years Eve felt right you know, it's where our journey began"Adam got up and took the ring out of his pocket
"So with that ... Sally Spectra will marry me?"he said as he got down on one knee
Sally was crying "Yes.. yes Adam"she was nodding
Adam got a big smile on his face, he placed the ring on her finger
"Yes" Adam cheered and spun her around
Adam sat her down and Sally grabbed him and kissed him with so much passion
"Do you want to celebrate here, or go back to the apartment?" she asked
"It depends, what would we be doing" he asked as he clasped his hand around her
Sally leaned up and lean into his ear
Adam's eyes went wide "Oh that calls us to continue you this at home"he kissed her
They started giggling and quickly ran out

They walked into the apartment. Sally walked in first. She turned to him and took his hand and lead them to the bedroom
Adam brought her into him and kissed her. Sally slowly removed his jacket and let it hit the floor. Sally turned around her back facing Adam, he began to unzip her dress and brought it down her body. Sally ran her hand along his neck as Adam was placing kisses on hers. They moved over to the bed without parting. Adam moved away and looked at her lovingly. He then laid her down on the bed. She moved a little bringing Adam on top of her
Adam laced their fingers together and moved their hands above her head
"God I love you so much" she said
"I love you too" he said caressing her face

They were laying bed with chocolate covered strawberries
"Best way to start the new year" Adam said feeding her the strawberry
"Admit it you wanted to do that last year"she said looking at him
"You know I did"he whispered
Sally moved closer to him "I did too" she smiled
Adam took her left hand and ran his thumb along her hand "So how does it feel to be engaged"
"Amazing"she said softly "This way was so beautiful"
"I knew you would love it"he said " I can't wait to marry you now.. the future Mrs. Newman"
"No, it's gonna be Sally Spectra Newman"
