A Love Like Ours Never Ends

    Chelsea ran into Adam and Sally's house frantically looking for Sally
"Sally" she yelled
"I'm here"Chelsea heard Sally groan from the living room. Chelsea found Sally leaning on the couch
"You doing okay.. are you certain this is it"she asked coming over to her
"Yes" she cried
"Don't cry it's gonna be okay"she told her
"We just had the doctors appointment this morning everything was fine. I just needed to be on bed rest"she said
Chelsea rubbed circles on her back "It's all good"she wrapped her arm around Sally "Come on let's get you to the hospital"she told her
"Adam"Sally cried
"I'll call and find him. Don't worry about it"

Chelsea was driving as Sally was in the middle of the a contraction
"Just keep breathing, your doing great"Chelsea told her
"This is my fault"she said
"Why would you say that Sally"Chelsea looked over at her
"I told Adam to go and give me space, if he didn't leave maybe this wouldn't have happened"
Chelsea gave her a sympathetic smile "Sally this isn't your fault at all, your babies are just ready to meet you and Adam"she said "And don't worry we are gonna track him down"
Sally nodded
Chelsea called Chloe who hadn't seen him.Next she tried Crimson Lights, Sharon answered
"Hello"she said
"Hi Sharon it's Chelsea um crazy question is Adam there by any chance"she asked
Sharon looked over "Yes, is everything okay"
"He forgot his phone at home .. can I talk to him"she asked
"Sure one sec"Sharon said "Adam phone is for you .. it's Chelsea"she told him
"Oh man my phone is at home"he said coming to Sharon
"Hey Chels what's up" he asked
"Adam I'm with Sally, you are on speaker"she told him
"Adam"Sally cried out
"Sally what's wrong are you okay"he asked all worried
"You need to meet us at the hospital... I'm in labor"she groaned
"Okay I'm on my way"he hung up
"Is everything okay"Sharon asked
"Sally is in labor I gotta go"he said
"Congratulations, give Sally my best"she told him as he ran out

They got Sally all hooked up to the monitors.The nurse was checking her.Chelsea was sitting next to her
"You are only 4cm so you have so time"she told her
"Okay"Sally said
She smiled and left
Sally looked at Chelsea "Thanks for staying"she said
"Of course no woman should be alone when they are in labor.. it's already a scary thing"
The next contraction hit "Ahh"
Chelsea took her hand "Just keep breathing"she said softly
"I'm trying"she said
"I know"she smiled
Sally leaned her head back "I want Adam"she cried
"I'm here"his voice was heard
Both Chelsea and Sally smiled
"Nice to see you Dad"Chelsea said and moved aside
Adam came up to her and kissed her head "You okay"he asked as he was rubbing her hair
"I'm so sorry I made you leave"she said as tears fell
"Shh"Adam said wiping her tears away "You don't need to apologize for anything okay.. I'm here now"
"Now that you are I'm gonna take off and tell Connor he is about to be a big brother"she told them "Good luck"
"Thank you Chelsea"Adam said
"Thanks for coming to get me"Sally added
"No problem, you got this"

Adam sat on the bed and started rubbing her hand
"Today is the day"Adam smiled
"I'm scared"she cried
"There is nothing to be scared about. We knew them being early was a possibility. Which is why they wanted you on bed rest but who knew it would happen a couple hours after they told us"he chuckled
Sally laughed then leaned into him and groaned
"Another contraction"he asked
Sally nodded
"I got you"he said rubbing her arms
"This hurts so bad"she told him
"I'm sorry Babe" he kissed the top of her head

A few hours passed Sally's contractions were getting intense, Adam hated seeing her in so much pain and not being able to help take it away
"Sal, are you sure you don't want the epidural"Adam asked as he was dabbing a wash cloth on her forehead
"I'm sure"she said
"Alright"he said
There was on knock on the door and then Coco poked her head in
"How is my sister?"she asked
"She's tough"Adam smiled at her
"She is right here, and I'm hanging in there"she told her
"I'll give you two time alone"Adam said going to leave
"Adam you don't have to.."Coco started saying
"No don't leave me"Sally panicked pulling him back to her
"Okay I won't leave"he hugged her
"How are things with them"Coco asked
"They are so stubborn"Sally said
"They are already like their Mommy"Adam kissed her hand
"Well I'll be in the waiting room if you need anything"she told them
"Coco you don't have to it's probably gonna be all night"Adam told her
Coco came over to Sally "I'm not leaving my sister"she said stroking her hair
"I love you"Sally said
"I love you too"Coco said

Sally finally caved and got the epidural. She was laying there crying
"Sally why are you so upset"Adam said rubbing her back
"I wanted to do this natural and I couldn't..I failed"she cried
Adam was stroking her cheek with his thumb "Babe, this isn't you failing, you already amaze me how strong you are. And you are gonna need all that strength to bring them into this world. So no more blaming yourself"
Sally just nodded
"The doctor said you should get some rest"he said softly
"Can you lay with me"she looked at him
"Of course. Anything you want me to do you're getting it "he said laying next to her

It was almost one in the morning when things finally started moving along
"Looks like these two a finally ready to meet Mommy and Daddy"she told them
Adam looked all excited "Oh my"he kissed her forehead "You ready Babe"
Sally smiled "Yes,"she asked
"I'm gonna get everything set up real quick"she told them
"You ready to meet them Daddy"she looked at him
"Absolutely, you got this Babe."he said
"Alright Sally on the next contraction on the count of three I want you to push for me okay"she told her
Sally just grabbed Adam's hand and did as she was told
"Good girl, you're doing great" Adam whispered
"Keep doing that good job Sally"the doctor said "The baby is almost here"
Adam went to look
"What are you doing"she screamed
"Sally this is the birth of our child I want to.."
"Adam if you love me you won't look"she said still pushing
Adam stepped back and tapped his other hand on hers
"One more push and the baby will be here"
"Come on Babe, you got this"he cheered her on
The next thing they heard was a cry
Sally started crying tears of joy and fell into Adam
"It's a girl Sally"Adam said smiling at her
The doctor placed the baby on Sally
"Oh my goodness"she said looking at their baby girl "Hi"she said softly
"I'm so proud of you"he kissed her, he was rubbing the baby's back
The nurse took the baby from Sally
"Where is she taking her"Sally panicked
"To clean her up and weigh her and all that good stuff. She'll be back with us soon"he told her "Besides you still have someone else to meet"he laughed
"Okay you do the next one then"she leaned her head on his arm "I'm tired"
"You know I would if I could"he rubbed her shoulder
"It won't be long now"the doctor told them
Adam kissed her head "I'm just gonna take a peek at our little girl"he told her
Sally just smiled and nodded
As Adam was looking the monitors were going off
"What is going on"Sally started panicking
"Sally your other baby is in distress we need to do an emergency c-section"the doctor told her
"Adam"she yelled
"I'm right here"he quickly took her hand "It's gonna be okay"
