A Love Like Ours Never Ends

"A company and a new baby"

       Adam and Sally were on their road trip Kansas.They were listening to music just enjoying each other's company.
"So will we be making your mother's famous pumpkin pie"Sally asked
"It wouldn't be Thanksgiving without it"he told her looking over at him
Sally leaned her head back and looked at Adam and smiled "Well I'm just so happy we can be us on this trip. You know no sneaking around. I almost forgot what's it like you know."she said
"I know" he said
"We can freely talk about Nugget"
Adam reached over and took her hand "Ya it will be nice"he smiled
Sally closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Adam looked over at her
"You okay" he asked
"Ya just can't tell if it's morning sickness or car sick" she said still with her eyes closed
"Would you like me to pull over"he asked ready to get off the exit
Sally shook her head "No I'm good" she said
"Why don't you try and get some sleep" he said and rubbed her shoulder
After a few minutes Sally was asleep.Adam just smiled as she slept still holding her hand

A few hours later they finally arrived at the farm. It was late, Adam gently shook Sally
"Sal, time to wake up"he said softly
Sally opened her eyes "What did you speed here, I was only asleep for a few minutes"
Adam started laughing "Babe, you were out for four hours" he told her
"Oh wow. I'm sorry it must have been boring for you"
"No I was fine. I did a lot of thinking" he said
"About what" she asked
"How is it possible that you are still beautiful when you are sleeping"
Sally smiled "Adam you don't need to flirt with me I'm already sleeping with you" she leaned over and kissed him
"Come on, are you ready to see where I grew up"
"Absolutely" she smiled
Adam got out of the car and went over to open her door. He then got their suitcases and they both went to the door
"Sally Spectra welcome to my happy place"he said as he opened the door and let her step in first
Sally looked around "Oh my God"she said, she turned to Adam "Adam I have seen this place before"
"You have, how"Adam was confused
"Do you remember when we were in Chicago and I had that dream about us"she asked
"Ya but what about it"he asked
"This is the house"she spun around "This is where we were."
Adam smile at her "I guess it was meant to be"he wrapped his arms around her
"What you're not gonna say I'm crazy" she said
"I could never" he kissed her
"So this is where Adam Newman grew up" she said walking around
"Yep,so do you want an official tour"he asked her
"I would love one"she smiled

Adam showed her all around. They sat on the couch
"Tomorrow I'll show you outside wait til you see the land"he wrapped his arm around her
"This place is gorgeous Adam. It's nice in cozy" she laid her head on his shoulder
"Sometimes I wonder why I ever left" he said
" If you stayed, you wouldn't have Connor" she said as she laced their fingers together
"You're right"he kissed her head "And I wouldn't have met you"
"I know it's late, but I'm hungry"she said
"We were having such a sweet moment and you go and ruin it with food" he said
Sally looked up at him and gave him a look
"I'm sorry, what would my girl like to eat"he asked
"Do we even have food"she asked
"I made a call. The house is all stocked up" he told her
"Of course you did"she laughed

Adam made chicken soup. They were still at the table eating
"So tell me about her, your mom" she said
"She was the kindest person I knew. Sometimes I wish I was more like her" he told her
"You are Adam. Since the moment we met you showed me nothing but kindness"she reached for his hand
"Thanks" he smile and was stroking her hand
"I love you" she said
"I love you too" he said and leaned over and  kissed her
Sally yawned
"Someone is tired, tell you what. Why don't you go take a bath relax. And I'll clean up" he told her
"Are you sure"she asked
"Yes go take care of Nugget"he said
"Alright, you'll come join me when you are done" she asked

Sally came wrapped up in a towel and saw Adam laying in bed
"You didn't join me"she said as she leaned against the door frame
"I know I'm sorry" he looked over at her
"Is everything okay" she crossed her arms
"Tucker messaged me" he told her
"Oh is everything okay with take over"she asked
"Yes, he is hoping to have everything done by Christmas"he told her
"Wow"she crawled into bed, and laid on top of him "You mean by new year we could running things"
"Looks that way" he wrapped his arm around her
"A company and a new baby" she wrapped her arms around him
"This is going to be our year Baby" he kissed her
