A Love Like Ours Never Ends

"You can't take a hint. I'm not doing this with you"

Today was Connor's field trip and since Adam was going with him, Connor stayed with Adam and Sally. Sally was making breakfast when Adam came into the kitchen he went up behind Sally and wrapped his arms around her. Sally leaned back into him
"Morning"he kissed her shoulder
"Morning"she said softly "Are you excited for today"she asked as she turned to face him
"Yes a whole day missing work"Adam said
Sally smirked and hit him "You are such a big kid"
"I'm kidding spending the day with Connor is going to be a blast"
Sally sighed
"You okay"he asked on concern as he placed his hands on her waist
Sally nodded "I'm still a little tired and nauseous "she told him 
"Why don't you take the day off,I'm sure Chloe could handle everything today"Adam suggested
Sally shook her head "No I'm good, it's probably the babies taking all my energy"she gave a small chuckle
Adam just smiled and rubbed his thumb along her bump
Sally could tell he was worried "Adam I'm okay, you don't need to worry about everything little thing" she smiled
Adam just leaned his forehead against hers "With you I'll always worry, but if you say you're okay. I'll try to relax"

They were finishing up breakfast, Connor was going on about what he was excited about seeing today. Adam was watching Sally she didn't seem to be listening and looked like she was a million miles away, she was rubbing her stomach. Adam lean over to her
"Sally"he said
She snapped out of it "What"she looked over at him
"Oh nothing, you just seemed to not be here with us"he told her
"Oh sorry,just thinking about all the things I need to do today"she told him
Adam nodded even though he wasn't convinced
"Look at the time, you two better get going"she told them
"Oh yes"Adam clapped his hands "Connor go bring your plate to the sink"he told him
Connor did what he was told then went over to Sally and hugged her
"Bye Sally"he said
"Bye Connor, you have the best time today"she looked at Adam "And make sure your Dad behaves"she gave him a goofy look
Connor giggled " I will" he said then ran out of the house
Adam came over to her and kissed her "Bye Babe"he smiled
"Bye, have fun with your son"she smiled back
"I love you"he caressed her cheek "Please call me if you feel any worse"
"Adam, I'll be fine"she told him

Sally enter Crimson Lights, Sharon smiled at her
"Morning Sally, would you like your usual"she asked
"Yes, please"she said
As Sharon was pouring her tea, she could tell something was up with Sally
"Hey are you okay?" she asked
"Yes"she gave a small smile "I'm just a little nauseous"
"Alright"Sharon smiled and handed her the tea "So how are you and the baby doing"
"Oh my that reminds me, you don't know"she said as she smiled
"Judging by the smile I hope it's good news"Sharon asked
"Oh it is, we found out that we are having twins"she said all excited
"Oh wow that's exciting congratulations"she told her
"Thanks we were shocked at first but it's pretty exciting"she said as she drank her tea "Hey do you mind if I stay awhile and do some work on the patio"she asked
Sharon shook her head "Not at all"she smiled

Sally was on the phone talking to Chloe, while skimming her emails
"Hey it's me, I think I'm going to do some work at Crimson Lights, before I head into the office"she told her
"Oh okay, are you alright"she asked
"Yes, I'm just don't feel like going into the office yet"she sighed
Victoria walked in and glared at her, she walked over to her
"You steal my company just to sit here and talk on the phone and sip your tea"she said
Sally looked up at her "Um Chloe, I need to go, I'll see you later"she hung and sent her phone down "Good Morning to you too"
"You are such a gold digger. You only have this company because you used sex to get it"
Sally took a deep sigh "Victoria, I'm not gonna dignify that with a response"she said getting back to work
"You two don't know anything about running a company"she said
Sally clasped her hands together "Incase you have forgotten Victoria, your brother went to Harvard for business and I ran my family's fashion house. So we know what it takes to run a company"
"Well it will be fun watching the two of you destroy this company"she said in a snarky tone
Sally rubbed circles on the sides of her head and sighed "Victoria as much as I would love to have it out with you . I'm not in the mood today"she closed her laptop
Victoria wasn't stopping "Oh and one more thing. How dare you take our employees for your company"
Sally groaned "You can't take a hint. I'm not doing this with you"

Sharon noticed Victoria talking to Sally, she was keeping an on them she didn't notice Chelsea come in
"Earth to Sharon"Chelsea said getting her attention
"Oh sorry Chelsea, what can I get you"she asked
"Just a black coffee" she said
Sharon nodded
"Is everything okay"she asked
"Yes, just concerned about what is happening out there"Sharon told her
Chelsea looked in the direction and got concerned too

Sally stood up and looked at Victoria
"Just so you know, we didn't steal the employees that came with us, they chose to leave. And they seem to enjoy working for us"she told her
Victoria crossed her arms "That's another thing, you and Adam"she said
"What about us, are you jealous of  your brother or are you that heartless"
"I'm not heartless and I never considered him brother"Victoria said "You are so jealous"Sally said
"I'm not jealous"Victoria stepped forward
Both Sharon and Chelsea took that as a sign to go help
"For someone who complains any time Adam has some happiness tells me that you a jealous of him"Sally told her
"You don't know me, and you about will never be apart of my family"
Sally looked hurt
"That's enough Victoria"Sharon yelled
Victoria huffed and gave Sally one more look, then left. Sharon smiled at Sally then followed Victoria
Chelsea went over to Sally "Are you okay"she asked
"Ya"she brushed it off "I'm used to people like her" she told her
Chelsea looked down and sighed "Like how I was with you in the beginning"Chelsea said
Sally smiled "That's all behind us"she said. Sally looked at Victoria who was ordering "I just wish I could stand up to her, but I didn't really have it in me today" she told her
Chelsea could tell Sally was worked up "Come on, let me take home"
"No, Chelsea I'm okay, I think I'm gonna go into the office"she told her
"Then let me take you there please"
Sally just nodded

Chelsea was sitting with Chloe and Sally in the office. Telling Chloe all about what happened
"I can't believe she isn't letting this go. She's so heartless"Chloe said
"Well she's a Newman, we all now had a moment with her."Chelsea chuckled
Sally gave a small smile
"It's like we are all in the same club"Chloe said
"Yes it is"Sally said with a small laugh
"So Adam and Connor are on the field trip"Chloe asked
"Yep"Chelsea said
"I don't know who was more excited Adam or Connor"Sally told them
"Those two have a special bond"Chelsea said as she smiled
"I hope these two will have that same bond"Sally got up
Chloe and Chelsea started talking
Sally walked one to her desk, then all of  sudden she gasped  "Ahh" she winced
This got Chelsea and Chloe's attention
"Sally, you alright"Chloe asked
"Ya.. I'm oka.."she couldn't finish the pain came back and doubled over
