TW - Creepy Teen at Prom, Punch in the Face

Roman pulls up to Virgil's house in his red car, wearing an equally red suit with white and gold details. It was the night of prom and Roman asked Virgil to be his date, but Virgil's parents Janus and Patton know that they're also together romantically

After much debate and disagreement, Janus reluctantly let his son go to prom with Roman. Patton was happy that Virgil was going to a social event with someone he trusted, Roman also said that he'd protect Virgil from any high schoolers acting creepy

Roman knocked on the front door of Virgil's house, being met with the face of Janus

<Janus>
Patton is helping our son get ready, you can wait for him at the stairs while he finishes up

{Roman}
Yes sir, thank you sir

Janus takes a drink of wine from the bottle, not acknowledging the thank you from his son's boyfriend. Roman pulls out a purple and white flowered corsage with butterfly details for Virgil's wrist. After a few minutes, Virgil walks down the stairs wearing a short white dress adorned with purple butterflies. On his feet was black flats since heels hurt his feet a lot. Roman immediately blushed when Virgil walked down the stairs, his redness rivaled his suit

Virgil giggles when Roman blushed the same red as his suit, putting the corsage on his left wrist. Patton came downstairs to say goodbye to his son and Roman, hugging them tightly. An almost drunk Janus interrogated Roman about keeping his word for making sure that Virgil was going to be safe during prom. A now slightly scared Roman told Janus that he was going to keep his promise

Roman and Virgil went outside to Roman's car, Roman opened the door for Virgil and they drove to school. When arriving, a group of popular students stared at both Roman and Virgil. Virgil, who was not used to the attention, squeezed Roman's hand tightly

{Roman}
It's okay, Butterfly. I'll protect you

Roman reassured, squeezing Virgil's hand back while smiling at his boyfriend. Roman kept Virgil close to him as they walked from the parking lot to the gym where prom was being held. They arrived, being met with Virgil's friend Logan and Roman's twin Remus who was also dating. Like Roman, Logan was wearing a formal suit. It was black but Logan was also wearing his signature dark blue striped tie. Remus, being a nonconformist for anything fancy, wore a neon green tank top under a black jacket along with black ripped jeans

[Logan]
Salutations Roman and Virgil. How are you this evening?

{Roman}
Good, but Virgil's dad scares me

{Remus}
More than me?

{Roman}
Equal. He interrogated me before today, then before we left I was threatened to keep Virgil safe. I will do that though, hopefully there aren't any creeps to scare Virgil and get him anxious tonight

Remus nods

[Logan]
Virgil, I never took you to wear a dress

¥Virgil¥
It was the only fancy thing I had, plus it matched my corsage. Roman blushed immediately when he saw me walk down the stairs, his face matched his suit perfectly

{Remus}
You finally live up to your nickname of Lover Boy, Broman, congrats!

{Roman}
Wait finally? Havent I done that already?

{Remus}
Not at school or home though. But you have when we're all hanging out

Roman nods, eventually leaving the gym so he could go to the bathroom. He told Logan and Remus to keep watch of any creeps wanting to chat up Virgil before he left, also telling Virgil where he will be so that he doesn't get anxious

Virgil nods, kissing Roman's cheek before he left, Roman blushed again then went to the bathroom with a red face. Virgil, Remus, and Logan talked until Remus pulled Logan over to the dance floor. Virgil waited by the bleachers, still hoping that there wasn't any creeps to talk to him before Roman comes back

Speak of the devil, a teen comes over to Virgil while eying his dress

Well, what do we have here? A pretty thing like yourself shouldn't be all alone

¥Virgil¥
A creep like yourself also shouldn't be alone, go away please

|Creepy Teen|
Playing hard to get, are you?

¥Virgil¥
Exactly. Go away, I have a boyfriend and you nauseate me

|Creepy Teen|
Boyfriend? Pfft, I should be the one to have you. Who even is he anyway? Some lowlife loser?

{Roman}
Back off my boyfriend or else I'll punch you in the face!

Right on cue with imaginary heroic music playing, Roman returned from the bathroom to see a creep trying to get into Virgil's pants or technically skirt. He knew that Janus would not trust him being with Virgil again because of this, but he didn't care, it was now Roman's mission to punch this creeps face

|Creepy Teen|
I'd like to see you try! I bet you can't punch me!

Roman smirked then swiftly punched the creep dead on in his face. The creepy teen fell to the ground while whining about his face being punched. The creeps friends helped him up from the ground then sprinted away from Roman so that they don't get punched as well

{Roman}
Butterfly, you alright? Did that creep touch you?

Virgil took some deep breaths before talking

¥Virgil¥
I'm better now but he did not touch me. I tried to get him to leave but couldn't. Remus dragged Logan on the dance floor so they couldn't be my backup. Thank you for protecting me

Roman nods, hugging Virgil and kissing everywhere on his face. Virgil giggles from the kisses, hugging Roman tightly then kissed his cheek for a third time. Once again, Roman turned red like his suit then asked Virgil if he wanted to go outside. Virgil nods, the couple left the gym for the playground. Roman picked Virgil up bridal style and walked themselves outside to the swings, setting Virgil down then walked behind him so that he could push him

Virgil smiled, thanking Roman for tonight as he was swinging. Roman smiled back, continuing to push Virgil on the swing
