Prinxiety Oneshots 3

-Tomorrow-

Virgil sees the coals of the fireplace burn while he waits for his employer finish his food. He thinks of his husband Roman who mined that same coal yesterday. He constantly worries about Roman not coming home one day because of the dangers of his job, but it was a way to earn more money than Virgil's housekeeping job

Virgil took the plate and went down to the kitchen, washing it clean like the floors he shined this morning. He watched the clock, knowing that Roman would be able to go home soon. Virgil kept cleaning, waiting for his time to leave

Eventually, Virgil's employer let him go for the day. Virgil walked back home, seeing Roman asleep after a long day of mining. Virgil smiled, sitting next to his husband. Roman's eyes started to open, seeing Virgil. Roman sat up and hugged Virgil a bit tight, bringing him on his lap

Ro, did something happen at the mines? What's wrong?

{Roman}
I'm not going back down there

¥Virgil¥
Why? Tell me, please

{Roman}
If I didn't get out of the way, I wouldn't have come home. I'm leaving the mine

But what can you do now? Is anyone willing to hire you?

{Roman}
No, but some people asked me if I could fix stuff around their houses. At least I'm not going to be unemployed or underground anymore. Also, the bookstore needs someone to help the owner stock books. I know that you wanted to leave your housekeeping job so I recommended you for that new job

When can I interview?

{Roman}
Tomorrow at 10AM. I'm sure that you'll be hired and working immediately

Virgil smiled, giving Roman a kiss on his cheek. Roman smiled back, standing and picked up Virgil bridal style. He spun his husband around in happiness

Tomorrow, our lives are changing! I know it!

Virgil giggled, fully kissing Roman. The couple kissed for a few seconds then pulled apart. Roman laid himself and Virgil back in bed. The husbands fell asleep, waiting for their lives to change tomorrow
