Virgil then walked into the office, seeing Violet with a bruised left hand, a teenaged boy with a bruised face, and 2 middle aged people Virgil assumed to be the boys parents. The person who called Virgil earlier, Violets principal, sat across the teens from a desk

What urgent thing happened that you needed to call me today?

Your daughter is getting suspended for a day because she punched this boy in the face

Do you know why she's getting this suspension specifically apart from the physical violence?

No, I was in a meeting and only got alerted of it afterwards

How about I ask my daughter for what really happened. Violet, why did you punch this boys face?

In the class before I was called here, that boy kept pulling and snapping my bra strap. I asked the teacher to make him stop but he didn't care! I only punched him after having enough of what was happening!

Violet hugged Virgil, who immediately went into Papa bear mode over what actually happened

You are going to suspend my daughter for punching him instead of the boy who violated her bodily autonomy!

But she attacked him physically, any kind of violence guarantees a suspension since it violates school policy!

The boy should get suspended for purposely laying a hand on my daughter! What he did was unacceptable! But no, you put my daughter in the wrong, not him!

The entire office went dead silent after Virgil berated the principal for not suspending the boy instead of Violet

Suspend the boy instead or else I'll happily file a report against you for letting him violate my daughter's bodily autonomy

Virgil left with Violet, she immediately hugged her Papa and thanked him for berating her principal for not suspending the boy who violated her bodily autonomy. Virgil helped Violet feel better for the rest of the day, but gave her space if she needed it to process what happened in the office. Virgil put Roman in the loop when he came back from work, Roman also went into Dad Bear mode and equally chewed out his daughters principal. Violet wasn't comfortable to attend school in case of what happened to her being repeated and spread across the high school

After finally having sense, the principal retracted Violets suspension and gave it to the boy while also extending it to 3 days. The principal began a program at Violets school which taught students about consent and bodily autonomy following the boy's suspension. Because of this, Violet was comfortable enough to attend school again

Both Virgil and Roman were very happy to see their daughter be comfortable at school once more, as long as they don't need to berate the principal again
