I look at the white flower in my hand. I smell it which instantly brings back memories of my love. I dearly wish that he was here with me for the entire year but I have to uphold my end of the deal signed with Janus, the constant reminder of why Virgil left voluntarily with me in the first place

I get snapped out of my desire to see Virgil again by a quick clearing of the throat coming from the ghostly head of the Underworld castle, Logan. He is wearing his trademark formal blue suit, glasses, and a pair of gloves. He isn't standing, but instead floating a few inches above the ground

[Logan]
Sir, there are more souls to shepherd to various parts of your land. Pay attention, you can muse on and on about our Queen later

{Roman}
Apologizes, Logan. You know it's hard for me to not think about him when he's above. Especially now since the mortals have been spreading word about something called Climate Change

[Logan]
Ah. That reminds me, I have a letter for you

Now dealing with more personal matters, I get up from my desk and walk on one of the 2 staircases leading to my private chambers. Logan float-follows me after he dismisses the line of souls that waited to be judged today. He closes the double doors to my room and I sit down on my bed, opening the letter when Logan gave it to me. It reads as follows

Roman,
As you know, the mortals that me and my son attend to have been worried about Climate Change. The Earth which we both serve has been heating up. Not that you won't care anyway, you're too busy to even care for the wellbeing of my son. Furthermore, he has told me that he would like to stay for the whole year so that he can assist me with the mortals concern. Expect there to be no happy reunion, I trust you can wait until the following year
~ Janus

Appalled by my father in laws desire to break the agreement and curse at my role as the God of the Underworld, I angrily tear up the letter

[Logan]
Sir, shall I ready your chariot?

{Roman}
I'm going up there alone, no chariot needed. Keep everything in order while I'm gone, including the souls whom I haven't judged yet. Gather them together and keep them on the docks of the Styx near my castle

[Logan]
Of course, sir

I make myself a bit more presentable, especially knowing that my father in law is going to comment on my appearance. I then rise above the surface where my father in laws garden and temple is. The ground on which I'm walking on immediately becomes withered away the more I step on it. The beauty of the entire garden reminds me of Virgil

I reach Janus's temple, seeing him sit proud and vainly on his throne as he attends to the mortals. His face twisted up into a disapproving and angry expression as soon as he saw me

<Janus>
Roman. I assume you received my letter

{Roman}
Unfortunately. What you have asked of me is breaking our agreement! Virgil ate 6 pomegranate seeds from my realm, not yours! We discussed this with my brother, Remus, then he ruled the decree that Virgil splits time between the Underworld and Overworld!

Janus then beckons an attendant of his temple over, they bring him a piece of parchment. I slightly squinted at it, my eyes did a double take and saw that there wasn't any symbol of my brothers presence anywhere on the parchment
