Virgil being anxious was an understatement, he was stressed. He needed to clean since the mess in the living room has been bothering him for too long, he needs to finish things he put off for his job, on top of that he needs to get groceries and help Roman make dinner instead of him burning down the house and ending up ordering food like what's been happening recently
His jewel like purple and green eyes, as Roman would describe them, have become tired and have dark circles underneath them. Because of how stressed Virgil is recently, he hasn't been paying attention to his own needs and appearance lately. Roman was sad to not see Virgil's makeup and painted nails when Virgil was starting to get stressed
One day, Roman had enough of Virgil being stressed and finally decided to help him. When Roman got home from helping out his twin brother Remus, he found Virgil cleaning up their messy living room. Roman slowly walked towards his boyfriend and hugged him from behind. Virgil immediately struggled in Roman's arms, trying to get out so that he could clean
¥Virgil¥
Roman, what are you doing? Let me go!
{Roman}
Butterfly, I'm going to take you to bed. You really need it. Rest will help you recharge, you look tired and your beautiful jewel like eyes now have dark circles underneath them
¥Virgil¥
But I have so much to do! I have to finish cleaning, do stuff for work that I put off, help you make dinner, and get groceries! Plus there's things I need to do tomorrow!
{Roman}
Shh. It's okay, Butterfly. Those things can wait for a while, I'm going to take you to our room
Roman picked up Virgil bridal style, who was protesting this in favor of being stressed more by completing all those tasks
{Roman}
Just close your eyes and breathe. You'll be safe in my arms and in bed, I promise
Roman arrived in his room with Virgil in his arms, Roman laid Virgil down on their bed then got changed into more comfortable clothes. When he was done, Roman saw that Virgil fell asleep which was a very good sign. Roman laid next to Virgil, who cuddled up to him. Roman smiled, adjusting their positions so that Virgil's head was laying on Romans heart. Roman ran his fingers through Virgil's hair, making a mental note to help Virgil get the stress off of his shoulders when they both wake up before falling asleep himself
